SAFETY CONDITIONS

  • The warranty conditions are different if the device is used for commercial purpose.

  • Before using the product please read carefully and always comply with the following instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages due to any misuse.

  • The product is only to be used indoors. Do not use the product for any purpose that is not compatible with its application.

  • The applicable voltage is 220-240V-50/60Hz. For safety reasons, it is not appropriate to connect multiple devices to one power outlet.

  • Please be cautious when using children. Do not let the children to play with the product. Do not let children or people who do not know the device to use it without Supervision.

  • WARNING: This device may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the device, only under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety, or if they were instructed on the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device should not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years of age and these activities are carried out under supervision.

  • After you are finished using the product always remember to gently remove the plug from the power outlet holding the outlet with your hand. Never pull the power cable!

  • Never put the power cable, the plug or the whole device into the water. Never expose the product to atmospheric conditions such as direct sunlight or rain, etc. Never use the product in humid conditions.

  • Periodically checks the power cable condition. If the power cable is damaged the product
    should be turned to a professional service location to be replaced in order to avoid hazardous situations.

  • Never use the product with a damaged power cable or if it was dropped or damaged in any other way or if it does not work properly. Do not try to repair the defected product yourself because it can lead to electric shock. Always turn the damaged device to a professional service location in order to repair it. All the repairs can be done only by authorized service professionals. The repair that was done incorrectly can cause hazardous situations for the user.

  • Never put the product on or close to the hot or warm surfaces or the kitchen appliances like the electric oven or gas burner.

  • Never use the product close to combustibles.

  • Do not let cord hang over edge of a counter or touch hot surfaces.

  • Never leave the product connected to the power source without supervision. Even when use is interrupted for a short time, turn it off from the network, and unplug the power.

  • In order to provide additional protection, it is recommended to install a residue current device (RCD) in the power circuit, with a residual current rating not more than 30 mA. Contact a professional electrician in this matter.

  • If using the device in the bathroom after use remove the power plug from the socket, because water proximity presents risk, even if the device is tuned off.

  •  Do not allow the device or power adaptor to wet. If the device falls into water, immediately remove the power plug or power adaptor from the socket. If the device is powered, do not put hands in the water. Have the device checked by the qualified electrician before using it again.

  •  Do not touch the device or power adaptor with wet hands.

  •  The device has to be turned off after every use.

  •  Do not leave switched-on equipment or adapter without supervision.

  •  Never use this device close to water, e.g.: Under shower, in bathtub, or above sink filled with water.

  •  If the device utilises a power adaptor, do not cover it, because this can cause a dangerous temperature rise and can damage the device. Always connect the power adaptor cable to the device, and then connect the power adaptor to the power socket.

  •  The cuting scissorS are very sharp. Use caution when assembling, dismantling and cleaning. Do not touch any elements of the moving blade during the operation!

  • DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR LONGER THAN 48 HOURS this can cause irreversible damage to the battery.

  •  The charging process should be conducted in temperatures between 5-35 degrees Celsius.

  • Do not wash the blades in water.

  • Only change comb attachments when the device is switched off.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

  • To begin charging plug the power cord into the charging Socket (6), and the charger into a 220-240V-50/60Hz mains power outlet.
  • When plug the power adapter into the socket, there will be a “beep” and the charging indicator (5d) will start blinking from bottom to top.
  • After the battery is fully charged, there will be a “beep” and the battery capacity reminder (5c) will show 100% and the charging light (5d)will blink at the same time.
  • The charging time is about 2 hours. After that the product is full charged, the running time is about 210 minutes.
  • When the battery reaches 10%, 5% 0%, it will beep 3 times. When the battery reduces to 5%, the charging indicator (5d) will start blink Note: When it runs out of battery, you can use it while charging.

SPEED CONTROL BUTTON

(3) Speed Indicator (5b) Motor speed range: 5 speed levels are available 5000-7000 RPM Every time you press “+” or *” button (3), it will adjust 500 RPM (5b)

POWER BUTTON/SAFETY LOCK (4)

Press the power button (4) to turn it on or off Press and hold the power button (4) for 3 seconds, to turn the safety lock on or off

OILING INDICATION (5a)
When the product works all time by 60 minutes, the oiling indicator (5a)will begin to blink to remind you to clean and oil the blade (please look point with cleaning method).

USING THE CLIPPER

Select the desired cutting length by turning the cuting length adjustment knob (2):0,8 /1,1/1,4/1,7 /2,0mm To change the comb turn the clipper off, unclip the comb (fig.1) and clip on the right one (fig.2). Start cutting by running the trimmer with the comb attachment against the direction of hair growth. This should be done slowly and at a steady speed. Please remember to regularly clean the trimmer and cut head of any hair

CLEANING

  • Clean after each use.
  • Make sure the product is turned off and unplugged.
  • Push the edge of the cutting head with your thumb, until it opens
  • Clean the cutting parts with the cleaning brush supplied
  • Clean the inside of the product with the dleaning brush supplied. 
  • Reinstall the cutting head back to the clipper body. Make sure the bottom of the cutting head aligned with the clipper body recess,
  • then push the cutting head inward to the product (click)
  • When the oiling indicator begins to blink (5a) or every five uses, drop 2-3 drops of the machine oil into the space  Gerlach GL 2829 Hair Clipper 12
  • Clean the casing with a dry cloth.

Please transfer cardboard packaging to waste paper. Pour the polyethylene bags (PE) into the plastic container Worn device should be returned to the appropriate point storage because it is dangerous in the device ingredients may pose a threat to the environment. The electrical device should be handed over to limit its reuse and use. If in the device there are batteries you have to take out and give to the point stored separately.
