For the easiest installation of the Canister Filter, first mount the Dust Right 650 CFM Wall-Mount Dust Collector at its final location, following the instructions that came with the dust collector.
When mounting the Dust Collector, the top set of Lag Screws must be located at least 65″ from the floor to provide needed clearance for the Large Canister Filter.
This Canister Filter is designed for use ONLY with the Dust Right 650 CFM Wall-Mount Dust Collector.

Assembly

  1. Wrap the 30mm Foam Tape around the bottom of the wall mount dust collector outlet, making sure the bottom edge of the tape is against the outlet flange. Trim any excess.
  2. Fit the Gasket onto the wall mount dust collector outlet, keeping it toward the bottom, against the flange.

1/4″ x 1/2″ Flange Bolts will thread into the Attachment Collar pieces in only one direction, and be sure to align the holes in the Attachment Collar with the holes in the Gasket.

  1. Bring the two pieces of the Attachment together around the Foam Tape on the dust collector outlet and connect them with the 1/4″ x 1/2″ Flange Bolts. Use the Open
    Wrench to tighten.

Use proper lifting techniques and get the help of another adult to lift the Canister Filter when attaching it to the Dust Collector. Failure to do so could result in injury.

  1. Bring the Canister Filter to the dust collector outlet, making sure the post for the Foldable Handle is oriented toward the right. Align the holes in the Canister Filter top with the holes in the Attachment Collar and attach with the 5/16″ x 1/2″ Flange Bolts. Use the Open Wrench to tighten.
  2. Slide the Handle onto the post projecting from the top of the Canister Filter, lining up the hole for the 5/16″ x 3/4″ Set Screw with the flat area on the post. Thread the Set crew into the Handle and thread the 5/16″ Nut loosely onto the Set Screw. Use the Hex Wrench to tighten the Set Screw; then use the Open Wrench to tighten the nut.  (The Handle is used to spin a paddle mechanism inside that dislodges built-up dust from the pleated filter.)
  3. Apply the bottom of the 20mm Foam Tape around the bottom of the Canister Filter. Trim any excess.
  4.  Fit the Plastic Bag over the bottom of the Canister Filter, making sure the edge extends at least to the top of the Foam Tape. Install the Clamp tightly around the Plastic Bag.
