INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

SAFETY WARNING

  • Read these instructions carefully before first use.

  • The appliance is intended for use in households only and for similar use! It is not designed for use in hair salons or for similar commercial use!

  • The appliance in not intended for use by persons (incl. children) whose physical, sensory or mental disability or lack of experience and knowledge prevents them from safe use of the appliance, unless they are supervised or they have been instructed about the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supevised in order that they do not play with the appliance.

  • Never immerse the appliance in water (even partially). Keep appliance dry!

  • Do not put the trimmer head into your nose or ear deeper than 0.5 cm.

  • Before replacing accessories or accessible parts, which move during operation, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the charger from the power socket!

  • Never use the appliance if the USB power cable or adapter is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell to the ground and got damaged. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.

  • For additional protection we recommend installation of current protection (RCD) with the nominal release current not exceeding 30 mA. Ask a control technician or an electrician for advice.

  • The appliance has no charging source of its own, it is only designed for charging via USB (an adapter with USB output, with output voltage of 5.0 V, and output current of at least 1 A). Before making any connection, please pay attention to instructions of the manufacturer of the respective power source.

  • Do not leave the iron plugged in power supply without supervision!

  • The trimmer with the plugged adapter must not be used at

  • places where it could fall into a bath tub, a wash basin or a swimming pool. If the trimmer fell to water anyway, do not take it out! First of all, unplug the adapter from the socket and only then remove the trimmer. In this case take the appliance to
    a special service to check its safety and proper function.

  • Always unplug the appliance from charger if you leave it unattended or before cleaning.

  • Do not put or take out the plug to or from a socket with wet hands!

  • Charge the accumulator at the normal room temperature. Do not expose the accumulator to temperatures higher than 50 °C to prevent causing damage to the accumulator.

  • The accumulator must not be removed when the appliance is normally used. Only remove the accumulator if the appliance is to be discarded (see article V. ECOLOGY).

  • When handling the appliance, proceed in such a way that no person gets injured (e.g. cutting) or the appliance does not get damaged.

  • Also, do not put the trimmer in the on position on soft surfaces (e. g. bed, towels, sheets, carpet); the surfaces or the appliance could get damaged.

  • Do not let the appliance in operation without supervision!

  • A guarantee of 24 months does not apply to decrease in the accumulator’s effective capacity caused by its use or age. Effective capacity gradually decreases depending on the method of use of the accumulator.

  • Use this appliance only for the purpose for which it was designed as specified in this user‘s manual. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.

  • Check regularly, if the holder with blades are not damaged or deformed.

  • The power cord of the adapter must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire and it must not be sunk into water.

  • The cable supplied with this appliance is intended for this appliance only, do not use it for other purposes. Also, use only the supplied cable with this appliance, do not use any other cable for charging (e.g. from another appliance).

  • WARNING: There is a risk of injury in case of incorrect use (not in accordance with the manual) of the appliance.

  • All text in other languages and pictures shown on the packaging, or the product itself, are translated and explained at the end of this language mutation.

  • The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect use of the device (e.g. cutting) and is not liable for the warranties in case of breaching the precautions mentioned above.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Charging of accumulator Turn off the appliance before connecting it to the supply chord! Connect the enclosed USB cable D to the power supply terminal A5, and connect the other side to a power source, for example
to a compatible AC power adapter, or to a backup power source (please confirm the voltage of the external electric device is =5 V / 1 A) before charging it. The first charging or charging after a long period of time is approx. 20 minuts! The operation of charging of the accumulator is indicated by a “green” indicator A3. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator it will go off. Unplug the adaptor from the wall socket first and only then unplug the connector from the slot. Do not exceed the charging time given. Unplug the cord of the accumulator from the el. outlet and appliance.

ATTENTION

  • When the battery of the accumulator is low and it needs to be recharged, the indicator starts flashing (5x).
  • Fully charged batteries provide operation time for approx. 40 minutes.
  • If you’re charging the accumulator for the first time after being stored away for some time, the accumulator will charge to about 60 % of total capacity. After discharging and recharging again, the accumulator will charge to 100 %.
  • After using the appliance for a long time or in hot environment, the accumulator may be too hot for charging. Let the accumulator cool off before charging.
  • To extend the lifespan of the accumulator, we recommend discharging the accumulator completely 4x a year by normal use and then charging it fully again.
  • The operating time is only approximate. The time depends on the condition of the battery, adaptor ambient temperature, age, method of charging, etc. Using the trimmer
  • The trimmer can be operated from the outlet with connected or only from the charged battery. Remove the protective cover B.Turn the switch  A4 to turn the appliance on. Remove the hairs in the nose and ears by circular motion. Turn the appliance off after use and replace the protective cover. Let the appliance recharge as soon as its performance is weaker.

MAINTENANCE

Turn the appliance off before each maintenance! Clean the appliance after each use! Wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth. Remove the trimmer head A1, holder with blades A2 and clean with a brush C. Assemble the appliance reversedly after cleaning. Put the safety lid on the trimmer before storing.

ENVIRONMENTAL

If the dimensions allow, there are labels of materials used for production of packing, components and accessories as well as their recycling on all parts. The symbols specified on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electrical or electronic products must not be disposed of together with municipal waste. For proper disposal of the product, hand it over at special collection places where it will be taken over free of charge. Suitable disposal of the product can help to maintain valuable natural resources and to prevent possible negative impacts on the environment and human health, which could be the possible consequences of improper waste disposal. Fines can be imposed for improper disposal of this type of waste in agreement with the national regulations. This appliance is equipped with Li- ion batteries with a long service life. For environmental protection it is necessary to remove the battery from the appliance after its service life and the battery and the appliance must be disposed of safely using special collection networks. Ask for more details at the local authority or at the local waste collection site.
Removing the battery Remove the battery from the appliance only when completely discharged (i.e. leave the appliance running until it stops).
More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be carried out by a professional service! Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to expiration of the right to guarantee repair!
