User Guide

Download and Install Go to the App Store or Google Play to search and download the “Wansview Cloud” APP on your smartphone. Or scan below QR code to get the APP.

Register Account
Open the “Wansview Cloud” APP and register an account with your email and activate it.
Tips: Your password must be 8-16 characters, and contains at least the following three categories: numbers, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, or special characters. -
Add G2

Tips
- This indoor security camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported!
- Please put the camera near to the router during setting up the camera, after connection succeeds, you can place the camera in another place.
Note
Put the camera close to the router(3 feet) during setting up the camera.
FAQ
The camera can not connect to Wi-Fi?****
Please press the reset button on the camera for 5 seconds until the blue light flashes quickly and the camera says “reset is successful, Please wait for about one minute, then the camera will flash blue light slowly and you can reconnect it now.
How to share the camera to another account?****
1. The invited member should download the Wansview Cloud app, and register
a new account first.
2. The main account should open the Wansview cloud app, tap “Settings-
invite family members”-press -choose Country and then enter the invited
member’s account.
3. The invited member needs to open the Wansview cloud app and then click
“Receive”. it he/she doesn t receive the invitation, please close the app and
then open it again.
Where is the micro SD card slot?****
Please kindly rotate the camera head upwards, then you will see the micro SD card slot (Capacity 8GB-128GB)
Does it support rtsp/onvif protocol so that I can connect it on the 3rd- party software?****
Yes, this camera supports rtsp/onvif protocal, you can enable this feature by tapping Local application and copy URL on Wansview Cloud app, then paste on 3rd-party software to add this camera.
Can my wife and I be able to view the cam on each of our iPhones?****
Yes, you and your wife can view it on each of your iPhones, but you have to use 2 different accounts, one account can only log in on one device. You can share the camera to your wife if you’re the admin.
Is this easy to use? For technically challenged using android? ged individuals?****
Yes this camera is super easy. I do not have an android so I can’t specifically address that but the app for iPhone is very easy to install & use & once u have the app installed it easily walks you thru connecting to the camera.
Why is there loud noise on my phone when phone is near camera?****
Because it’s the electromagnetic interference, so we suggest you put the camera far away from the phone.
Does this camera have 24/7 recording so I can review all footage captured and not just motion events?****
It does technically do 24/7 recording to the mini sd card. But this recording is broken into tiny bursts. The intervals from my card are anywhere from 3-13 seconds each. The camera does not follow motion from what I have seen. You have to manually move it. It does look as though when you log into the app, move the camera around, etc that it does record then. You have to unmount the sd and remove it and view recordings from a computer. You can not access the sd videos from the app, at least not without a plan and I’m not paying their fee for cloud storage.
Will it still record footage to the microsd card when there’s no Wi-Fi connection?****
No, it will disconnect from the Wifi and stop recording once there is no Wi-Fi connection.
How do I get the mac address for my device?****
When you click on your camera image (as you are viewing a live feed) Click settings, then click the top arrow that shows your cameras name and device info, at the bottom after you click on it will be the mac address.
How can I connect this nanny camera on app?****
Please kindly go to App store or Google Play to download “Wansview Cloud app” and sign up an account, then follow the app instruction to set up the camera with your 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi, 5G Wi-Fi isn’t supported.
What’s the name of mobile app for your ca8?****
Wansview Cloud is the name of the app, you can download it on either Google Play or iOS App Store. I have it installed on multiple devices for my cameras.
Why isn’t the two-way sound working? I can hear my dogs clearly but they can’t hear me.****
Mine did that too when I first set up, I unplugged then re plugged and it
worked.
