Milieu ZoneMate Better Bundle 1x Climate Smart Thermostat Kit
Install the ZoneMate module AND CONNECT YOUR SYSTEM

You can install the ZoneMate Module in the roof space, or in a cupboard for easier access. For best wireless range mount the ZoneMate Module away from the air conditioner’s indoormetal case.

Connect each motorised damper to the ZoneMate Module by plugging RJ12 cables (not provided) into the zone ports, starting from port 1 through to port 8 in order.

Connect the Intesis Gateway to the ZoneMate Module using the black cable provided.Complete the install of the Gateway to the AC system as per the wiring diagram provided in theMilieu Climate Brand Adaptor Kit.

Connect the Milieu Climate Smart Base to theZoneMate Module by plugging the yellow RJ45cable provided into the Smart Base port.

Connect the ZoneMate Module to power by plugging the 24V AC transformer into the24V port on the ZoneMate Module.If you have wired sensors:

Connect the wired sensors to the ZoneMateModule by plugging the wired sensor cable (not provided) into the sensor ports for the correct zone. For example, for zone 1 ensure you plug the wired sensor cable into sensor port 1.
Install the Smart Base
- Mount the Milieu Climate Smart Base to the wall as per instructions provided in the install manual located in the Milieu Climate box (or find them at milieulabs.com.au). Plug in the 4 wires from the stripped end of the yellow RJ45 cable as follows:
Power on
- Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Milieu Climate setup wizard. At step, Select Wiring Setup, ensure you select ZoneMate. If you have wireless sensors:
- If you have Wireless Sensors follow the install guide provided in your Wireless Sensor box to connect the sensors to your ZoneMate and Milieu Climate.
Zone Calibration
- When powered up, the ZoneMate mode LED will be flashing green to indicate the system is on. An automatic damper calibration will initiate and cycle through each zone port to identify the type of dampers that are installed. Each zone port LED will cycle through green, yellow and red. Once the damper calibration is completed the zone port light will turn green if a damper is detected or red if no damper is detected. This calibration can take up to 5 minutes. You may continue with the setup process while the zones are being calibrated.
Configuration Tip
Make sure your air conditioner is set to enable sensing from the manufacturer wall controller. Check the Milieu Climate Brand Adapter Kit Manual for more information.
Troubleshooting tips
Zone dampers are not working.
→ Check your ZoneMate Mode LED light is flashing green. If there is no
light, check the power is connected.
Experiencing problems?
→ If you are experiencing problems with system operation, try resetting the
power to your air conditioner and controls, and/or reboot the hub by pressing
and holding the button for 10 seconds.
