Select the required processing program by A2 – A3 buttons. We recommend stopping work from time to time, switching off the appliance and removing possible food that was stuck onto the knife or containers. After finishing work, disconnect the appliance from power supply by taking the connector of power cord A4 out of the electric socket. Unscrew the plastic container base B2 and replace it with the jar travel cover C. If you open the cap C1, you can drink directly from the jar.

Recommendation

  • It is recommended to cut tough ingredients into small pieces. Do not process very hard materials (e.g. cinnamon,, spices, , nutmeg,, turmeric, , bean coffee or only ice cubes etc.)! The knife would be blunt soon.
  • Nuts, and cheese will chop / grind better if thoroughly chilled first.
  • Hard ingredients (e.g. legumes, soya beans, etc.) should be soaked in water before processing.
  • The longer you process the food with the mixer, the smoother the result will be.
  • If you prepare a small amount of ingredients for beverages, doughs or purees, it is recommended to pour a small amount of liquid in the container before you start mixing
  • Sometimes during processing, the ingredients clump together. If this happens, remove the cup from the motor unit and shake it. Refit the cup to the motor unit and carry on processing.
  • The inner side of the container might change colour (become matt) and the container might give out a characteristic smell in the process with hard ingredients but this does not affect the function of the appliance and it is not a reason for a claim. Therefore we recommend using the same container for processing hard ingredients

Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Clean drive unit A with a soft and wet cloth with a little detergent. Make sure that water does not get inside the appliance! Wash the accessories in hot water with a detergent right after use, rinse it in clean water and wipe till dry (you can also wash the accessories in a dishwasher). Knife cleaning procedure: pour about 0.3 l of clear water in the container, switch on the appliance and remove the impurities by several pulses. In the case of larger amount of impurities, repeat the procedure several times, or pour 0.3 litre of water, add a small amount of detergent and switch on the blender for 15 sec. Be very careful when cleaning the knife! Make sure that the cutting edges of the accessories are not in contact with hard objects that make them blunt and thus they reduce their effectiveness. If sealing B1, C2 is worn out or damaged, replace it with a new one (of a similar type). Some food can colour the accessories in some way. But this does not affect the function of the appliance and it is not a reason for a claim. This colouring usually disappears after some time. Never dry plastic moldings over a heat source (e.g. heater, electric / gas stove).
Please make sure that the contact surface and sealing elements are clean, undamaged and properly placed.
