  • Plug the base of the kettle into the mains network.
  • Take note of the minimum/maximum level and fill the kettle with the required amount of cold water.
  • Take note of the minimum/maximum level.
  • The kettle can be filled through the lid.
  • Open the lid by pulling the knob upwards.
  • Close it again afterward firmly.

When filling the kettle does not exceed the MAX level indication marking. The water level should stay under the marking!
Place the kettle on a separate base and switch it on using the switch underneath the handle. The indicator will light up. The kettle will switch off automatically as soon as the water boils. (The indicator will go out). You can also stop the kettle from healing up before it boils by moving the switch upwards or by removing the kettle from the base, the switch will switch itself off automatically. The kettle will remain switched off when you replace it until you switch it on again.
Only use the kettle with the lid closed properly and locked in place, otherwise, the automatic switch-off will not work.
Allow the kettle to cool before switching it back on. Never switch on an empty kettle. If the kettle is accidentally switched on while empty, the safety cut- out function will automatically switch it off. Should that happen, remove the kettle from the base and allow it to cool for a few minutes. You can then fill the kettle with water and switch it on again.
Note: The kettle must only be filled with water. You should not attempt to heat milk, tea or coffee in it nor instant soups or powders.

Caution:
Boiling water may splash out of the spout if the kettle is filled above the indicated maximum level. When filled to less than the minimum level, the kettle will not switch off automatically on boiling, but will continue to boil until the safety cut-out function is triggered.
