SLEEP TRAINER CLOCK, ALARM CLOCK, and NIGHTLIGHT

SET THE DAY- AND NIGHT TIME

The day- and night times are pre-set in the factory. The daytime starts at 6:00 and the nighttime starts at 18:00. Use the MODE button to choose between the daytime display, nighttime display, and the current time (no icon).

SET THE CLOCK

Ensure that the current time shows on the display (not an icon). Then, press the SET button for 3 seconds. The hours will start to blink. Press the + and —buttons to correctly select the hour. Press the SET button. The minutes will now start to blink. Press the + and — buttons to correctly select the minutes. Finally, press the SET button to confirm the hours and minutes.

MAIN SWITCH/RESET

Use a paper clip the first time you switch on the sleep trainer via the main switch. The reset button is next to it if you want to return all the default factory settings.

GENERAL

The sleep trainer is suitable when you want to improve your child’s sleep rhythm. You can program the sleep- and daytime. For instance, to bed at 18:30 (sleep time) and wake up at 06:30 (wake-up time), with a wake-up signal if you choose. The display light is blue during sleep time and yellow during the day. The product is suitable for children who can already tell the time and children who can’t tell the time yet. By pressing the SET button, you can switch between the 3 different displays. There are 3 options for showing the time on the display:

  1. Just the hedgehog’s face
    • The hedgehog is asleep with a blue nightlight, which means stay in bed and sleep.
    • The hedgehog is awake with yellow light, which means I can get up.

  2. The hedgehog’s face with the time displayed digitally
    • The hedgehog is asleep with a blue nightlight and the nighttime means stay in bed and sleep.
    • The hedgehog is awake with yellow light and the daytime means I can get up.

  3. Just the time displayed digitally.
    • Blue nightlight and the nighttime means to stay in bed and sleep.
    • Yellow light and the daytime means I can get up.

SET THE DAYTIME

(start of the day – yellow light) Ensure that the daytime shows on the display. Then, press the SET button for 3 seconds. The hours will start to blink. Press the + and — buttons to correctly select the hour. Press the SET button. The minutes will now start to blink. Press the + and — buttons to correctly select the minutes. Finally, press the SET button to confirm the hours and minutes.
Note: You can set the day time between 04:00 and 14:59.
SET THE WAKE-UP TIME (alarm)
While setting the daytime, you can activate the alarm’s wake-up signal. Press the MODE button while the hours or minutes blink. The icon will appear at the top-right of the display. The wake-up signal is now active. When the alarm sounds, you can put it off by pressing 1 of the operating buttons. The alarm will sound for a maximum of 1 minute and will automatically stop afterward.
Note: You can turn off the alarm signal even when the buttons are locked.

SET THE NIGHTTIME

(start of the night – blue light) Ensure that the nighttime shows on the display. Then, press the SET button for 3 seconds. The hours will start to blink. Press the + and — buttons to correctly select the hour. Press the SET button. The minutes will now start to blink. Press the + and — buttons to correctly select the minutes. Finally, press the SET button to confirm the hours and minutes.
Note: You can set the night time between 15:00 and 03:59.

HOW TO LOCK THE BUTTONS

You can lock the operating buttons so they can no longer be used. To lock the operating buttons, hold down the + and – buttons for at least 5 seconds. The icon will appear at the top-right of the display. Hold down the + and – buttons again for 5 seconds to unlock the buttons.

HOW TO SET THE BACKGROUND LIGHTING

Depending on whether it’s day or nighttime, the background lighting will be yellow or blue. You can adjust the intensity of the background lighting. Ensure that the current time is shown on the display (not an icon). Press the

  • and — buttons to adjust the display brightness. There are 7 settings in total, as well as ‘off’.

CHARGING THE BUILT-IN BATTERY

You can change the sleep trainer’s built-in battery using the supplied USB cable. Place the sleep trainer’s USB cable into the USB port of your computer, laptop, or an adapter with a USB port, for charging. Ensure that the sleep trainer and USB cable are out of reach of children while charging. The battery should be fully charged after roughly 1.5 hours. This depends on the type of adapter used or the power supply. The USB cable was manufactured solely to charge the sleep trainer. A red indicator light will be visible on the back of the sleep trainer during charging. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will turn green. When the battery is running low, the icon will appear at the top-left of the display. Later, the display lighting will also go out. The digital time display will still show for a while. Recharge the sleep trainer’s battery. The battery will last up to 18 days, but this depends on which display brightness you’ve selected. Display lighting brightness high: up to 4 days. Display lighting brightness average: up to 18 days. Display lighting out up to 7 months.

STANDBY/TURNED OFF

You can put the sleep trainer on standby. In that case, the display will go out. To do this, press the ON/OFF button lx. When the alarm sounds, the display automatically comes back on. You can also turn the sleep trainer off. To do this, press the ON/OFF button for 4 seconds.
WARNING This is not a toy!
EXTENDED PERIODS OF NON-USE
If you aren’t going to use the product for a long time, we recommend that you turn the sleep trainer off using the main switch/reset button. To maintain the battery’s operating life, we recommend that you fully charge the sleep trainer’s battery once every 3 months during extended periods of non-use.
