INSTRUCTIONS

Read and follow all of the instructions and safety precautions below before using this product. Keep the manual for future reference.
In very rare cases, a person may have an epileptic seizure in everyday life caused by flashing lights or patterns. This lamp also causes flashing light. Please bear this in mind when considering using this lamp. Consult your doctor before use if you have epilepsy or have ever had an epileptic seizure. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following while using this lamp: changed vision, eye or muscle twitches, mental confusion or disorientation, loss of awareness of surroundings, or involuntary movements.

Precautionary measures and safety instructions

  • Do not expose this product to any heat sources (including fire or direct sunlight).
  • Do not expose this product to water or liquids.
  • Do not disassemble or modify this product.
  • Do not drop this product (and avoid other severe impacts that may damage its internal circuitry).
  • Do not allow children to charge the batteries. Do not leave removed batteries lying around.

Instructions

  1. This lamp runs on four AAA batteries (not included) or by connecting the supplied USB cable to a computer or laptop, or via an adapter (max 5V) to the power supply.
  2. For use with batteries: Open the cover on the bottom with a crosshead screwdriver and insert the four AAA batteries correctly. Only insert four equal batteries into the battery compartment. Then switch on the lamp using the on/off button (on the right) on the side of the lamp. A small blue light will come on. When replacing batteries, always replace all batteries at the same time. Remove all batteries from the battery compartment if the LED light won’t be used for a longer period of time.
  3. For use with the USB cable: Plug the cable into the lamp and connect the USB output to a computer or laptop or to the power supply using an adapter (max. 5V). Then switch on the lamp using the on/off button (right) on the front of the lamp.
  4. To use the lamp as a projector: Remove the cover from the top and place one of the projection slides (starry sky or ocean) in the holder. To do this, first place the desired slide in the white ring. Place the slide on the lamp and tighten the ring counter-clockwise. To change the slide, unscrew the ring clockwise and remove the slide with ring from the lamp. Remove the slide from the ring by gently pressing on the tabs and remove the slide from the ring along the bottom. Replace the other slide in the same way. Make sure that the three recesses on the edge meet the tabs. Press the centre button to set the colour and light pattern. Press the left button to turn the lamp.
  5. To use the lamp as a normal lamp: Remove the printed covers and place the top back on the lamp. Press the left button twice. The lamp will emit a white light. A different light pattern can be selected by pressing the centre button.

Maintenance

  1. Keep the LED light away from water or other liquids.
  2. Clean the LED light with a damp cloth. Do not use any chemicals or detergents.
  3. Only use the LED light at normal ambient temperatures (0 to 45 °C).

Faults and repairs

If this device needs to be repaired, you can hand it in at a branch after packing the product securely. Do not try to repair this product yourself. For repairs that fall within the warranty period, you will need to show a proof of purchase and the warranty document. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If there is any damage to the cord set, please return the item to a branch for repair. Do not try to replace it yourself. For safety reasons we recommend that you do not carry out any repairs to an electrical device yourself.

Warranty claims

Invalidation of warranty
The warranty on this article is invalidated if the fault or defect is caused by:

  1. normal wear and tear
  2. external damage (for example, damage caused by exposure to sand or moisture or due to falling of the product, etc.)
  3. improper or inappropriate use
  4. overdue or incorrect maintenance, including repairs that were not authorised by.

The above list does not exclude other possible reasons for defects not being covered by the warranty.
