OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

USE
REPLACING THE BATTERY
- Open the battery cover by pushing it down.
- Remove the old battery by pulling the black band.
- Insert new 1.5 V AAA batteries with the correct polarity as shown by the markings in the battery compartment. The black band should lie under the first battery to simply taking it out.
- When the batteries are inserted a short audio prompt will be heard and all the symbols are shown on the display. The display then shows 12:00 AM.
- Replace the cover.
SETTINGS
- The long line on the selector shows the selected function.
- Press the button for at least 3 seconds to increase/reduce the setting.
- Put the selector in LOCK mode to confirm the settings.
Time
- Put the selector in TIME SET mode. The digits for the time flash.
- Set the hour with the HOUR/MONTH button. Set the minutes with the TEMP/MIN/DATE button.
12/24 hour display
- Put the selector in LOCK mode.
- Push the 12/24/YEAR button to select 12/24 hour display.
Date
- Put the selector in DATE SET mode. The digits for year and date start flashing.
- Set the year with the button 12/24/YEAR.
- Set the date with the TEMP/MIN/DATE button.
- Set the month with the HOUR/MONTH button.
ALARM
NOTE:
- For the first 10 seconds the alarm is 1 audio prompt per second.
- If the alarm is not switched off within 10 seconds it switches to 2 audio prompts per second for the next 10 seconds.
- If the alarm is not switched off within 20 seconds it continues with 2 audio prompts per second for the next 10 seconds and then 4 audio prompts per second.
Setting the alarm
- Put the selector for alarm on/off in AL. SET mode. The alarm time starts flashing.
- Set the hour with the HOUR/MONTH button. Set the minutes with the TEMP/MIN/DATE button.
- Put the selector for alarm on/off in LOCK mode to confirm the settings.
Enable/disable the alarm

Enable the alarm function by moving the selector for alarm on/off to one of the following modes:

AL.ON
The alarm is enabled for each weekday and MO-SU is shown in the display. -
WORKAL.ON
The alarm is only enabled for Monday to Friday and MO-FR is shown in the display.

Disable the alarm function by moving the selector for alarm on/off to AL.OF F. mode
Snooze button
When the alarm goes off press the snooze button to switch off the alarm for
the next 5 minutes.
Switching off the alarm
To switch off the alarm press any button except SNOOZE/ LIGHT.
SWITCHING FROM °C TO °F
- To switch the temperature unit put the selector in LOCK mode.
- Press the TEMP/MIN/DATE button to change the temperature unit.
BACKLIGHT
- The backlight goes on when the SNOOZE/LIGHT button is pressed.
- The backlight stays on for 5 seconds.
SWITCH FOR LIGHT SENSOR
- Put the switch for the light sensor in ON mode to enable the backlight on the display in poor light.
- Put the switch for the light sensor in OFF mode to disable the backlight on the display in poor light.
