MARQUANT 889006 Mini Trimmer
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Do not store the trimmer and its accessories near heat sources.
- If the trimmer is damaged, it must be inspected by an authorised service centre. Never attempt to repair the trimmer yourself.
- Switch off the trimmer when not in use.
- The trimmer must not be covered.
- Intended for indoor use only.
- Only use the trimmer for its intended purpose.

OPERATION
Turn the trimmer on and off with the power switch.
Nose trimmer
For trimming hair in your nose and ears. Start the trimmer before placing it in your nose or ears.
Sideburn trimmer
For trimming your sideburns and the hair by your ears. The trimming comb can
be used together with the sideburn trimmer. Start the trimmer before placing
it near your hair.
NOTE:
The trimmer must be turned off when you change accessories. Turn the trimming
head anti-clockwise to undo. Then fit the required trimming head and turn
clockwise.
Trimming comb
Place one of the two trimming combs on the trimming head to select the trimming length. The following trimming length settings can be selected:
- 1 mm without trimming comb.
- 2-4-6-8 mm with the short trimming comb.
- 10-12-14-16 mm with the long trimming comb.
Battery
1x 1.5 V AA battery. Turn the battery cover at the bottom of the trimmer clockwise to replace the batteries. Ensure that the batteries are installed with the correct polarity.
MAINTENANCE
Make sure the trimmer is turned off before performing maintenance.
- Remove the trimming head and brush away any hair after each trim.
- Rinse the trimming head with water and allow it to dry completely before refitting it.
- Apply a couple of drops of oil on the clean, dry trimming head.
- The trimmer may be brushed or wiped off with a soft, damp cloth.
- It must never be exposed to moisture.
- Do not use corrosive or abrasive detergents to clean the trimmer.
- If the trimmer is not going to be used for a while, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the trimmer.
- Do not store the trimmer and its accessories close to heat sources, in direct sunlight, in a damp environment or close to sharp objects.
