INSTALLING AND REPLACING THE BATTERIES:

  1. Remove the washable exterior cover. Open the battery pocket and remove the battery box. Slide the battery compartment door open.
    (If replacing batteries, remove the exhausted batteries and dispose of them safely).

  2. Insert 4 AA batteries inside the battery compartment. Follow the “+/-” signs for proper installation.

  3. Replace the battery compartment door.

  4. Place the battery box back into the pocket and close the zipper. Replace the washable exterior cover.

APP OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

Download the Baby Brezza smart soothing mat app on your mobile device.

  1. Select mode
    – “vibration” vibrates steadily – “heartbeat” mimics heartbeat vibration patterns.

  2. Select speed
    1- lowest, 4 – highest. Try different levels to find which one works best for your baby.

  3. Select run time in minutes
    The vibration will automatically turn off at the end of the timer to save battery life. Selecting will run vibration until it is turned off manually.

  4. Press the play/pause button to start vibration.
    The timer will count down to show the time remaining. Press play/pause again to stop the vibration.

MANUAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Hold the power button for 2-3 seconds to turn on the Soothing Mat for continuous use.
    OR
    1b. Continue to hold the power button for 3-4 seconds after vibrations begin to enable a 60-minute automatic shut-off function.

  2. The select mode by pressing the Mode button until the desired mode is activated.

  3. Place infant on top of Soothing Mat.

  4. Turn off the Soothing Mat by pressing and holding The power button for 2-3 seconds.

  2. Low Vibrate
  3. Medium Vibrate
  4. High Vibrate
  5. Heartbeat #1
  6. Heartbeat #2
  7. Heartbeat #3
  8. Heartbeat #4

TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL USE

  • The mat is designed to soothe fussy babies. It may not soothe a baby that is in full meltdown mode.
  • Try different modes to find the one your baby likes best.
  • Some babies need time to adjust to the mat, some adjust quickly.

TO CLEAN:
Wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Allow air-drying. Do not bleach. Do not iron.

NOTE:
For use with or without an infant support apparatus (bassinet, crib, portable playpen, bouncing chair, etc.). If using another infant support device, be sure to follow all instructions related to the support device.

  • Use only as a soothing mat.
    – Do NOT use a soothing mat as a pillow or blanket.
    – Do NOT allow the child to play with the infant soothing mat; this is not a toy
    – Do NOT leave the child unattended on an elevated surface.

  • Suffocation hazard:
    – If using with or without another infant support device, do not place the infant on a soft surface (adult bed, sofa, cushion, etc.) as a child can roll over and suffocate.

  • To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep unless otherwise advised by your physician.

  • If using with another infant support device, such as a bassinet crib or infant seat, be sure to follow all warnings and instructions for safe use of that device.

  • Do not immerse the soothing mat in water. Follow cleaning instructions. Remove liquids by wiping with a dry cloth.

  • Before each use, inspect this product for damage. Discontinue use if any parts are missing or broken. Contact Baby Brezza for replacement parts and instructions if needed. Never substitute parts.

  • Choking Hazard
    – Batteries are small parts that present a choking hazard for children under 3 years of age.
    – Always keep batteries away from children.
    – Securely close zippers to prevent access to batteries.

  • When using batteries with this product:
    – Do not mix old and new batteries.
    – Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel- cadmium, lithium-ion) batteries.

  • Batteries may leak fluid that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product.
    – Remove batteries before putting the Soothing Mat into storage for a prolonged period of time.
    – Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries properly.
    – Use caution when opening the battery compartment as some batteries may leak, explode or catch on fire.

  • Rechargeable batteries
    – Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the Soothing Mat before being charged.
    – Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when recharging.

Unfortunately, there are some websites and dealers — particularly on Amazon.com and eBay.com — who claim to be authorized Baby Brezza resellers but are not. Products sold on these websites by such unauthorized dealers do not carry a warranty from Baby Brezza. When you purchase products from an unauthorized website or dealer you are taking a risk, because these products may be counterfeit, used, defective, or may not be designed for use in your state or country. Please protect yourself and your Tranquilo product by ensuring that you only purchase Baby Brezza products from an Authorized Baby Brezza Dealer.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Baby Brezza Enterprises LLC. (“Baby Brezza”) warrants to original end-users of Baby Brezza products that these products will be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, for one year from the date of purchase by the original end-user. At its option, Baby Brezza will repair or replace, any Baby Brezza product which fails to conform with this warranty.

In no event shall the duration of any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose be longer than the period of the applicable express warranty set forth above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by (a) the failure to follow Tranquilo’s instructions or warnings when using or storing the product or (b) misuse or accident, or otherwise, including in cases of third party actions and force majeure.

In no event shall Baby Brezza be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and is the sole remedy with respect to product defects.

This warranty gives specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
