PREPARATION

Socket 115X/1366/775

STEP 1
Install the backplate on the rear of the motherboard with the long stnadoff screws. Then Install the spacers on the front of the motherboard and secure the flat side of the standoffs with the long standoff screws.COUGAR-Helor-

STEP 2
Secure the retention bracket onto the standoffs by using the short standoff screws.COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-Cooler-7

Intel Socket 2066/2011/2011-3

Install the concave side of the standoffs on the front of the motherboard and secure them with the retention bracket by using the long standoff screws .COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-Cooler-8

AMD

STEP 1
Remove the stock AMD mounting bracket from the front of and the stock backplate from the rear of the motherboard

STEP 2
Install the backplate on the rear of the motherboard with the long standoff screws. Then Install the spacers on the front of the motherboard and secure the flat side of the standoffs with the long standoff screwsCOUGAR-Helor-

STEP 3

INSTALLATION

STEP 1
Apply the thermal paste evenly on the CPU’s surface by using the scraper .COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-Cooler-12

STEP 2
Remove the protective film from the bottom of the water block.COUGAR-Helor-

STEP 3
Install the water block onto the retention bracket by using the mounting screws.COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-Cooler-14

STEP 4
Install the Vortex Omega 120 fans and the radiator on the case by using the fan and case screws.COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-

STEP 5
Connect the 3 pin pump cable of the water block to the AIO_PUMP header, the CPU_OPT or other suitable three or four pin headers from the motherboard.Please set this connected fan header at full speed or 100% duty in fan speed control of the BIOS.

STEP 6
Connect all the 4 pin fan connectors to the 1 to 3 fan splitter and then connect the fan splitter to the CPU_F AN header on the motherboard. Please make sure the first connector of the fan splitter is connected.COUGAR-Helor-

STEP 7
Connect the power connector to the Core Box v2 and the Molex 4 pin connector of the power supply, and use the 5V addressable header adapter to connect the Core Box v2 to a 3-pin 5V addressable RGB header of a compatible motherboard .COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-Cooler-18

STEP 8
Connect the LED power cables of the Vortex Omega 120 fans and the water block to the FANS and LED connectors of the Core Box v2. When this step is finished, the installation will be completed.COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-

Core Box V2 supports up to 8 RGB fans and 4 LED strips or 2 LED strips and 1 water block in separate LED connectors. LED strip is optional.

REFILL

STEP 1
If the flow indicator on the water block is not running while the pump is activated, please refill the coolant.COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-CPU-

STEP 2
Uninstall the water block from the retention bracket and move it outside the case. Refill the coolant outside the case to avoid accidental damage to your computer’s components due to coolant leaks.COUGAR-Helor-Series-360-Liquid-

STEP 3
Unscrew the metal cap on the water block and refill the coolant. Please refill an adequate volume of coolant and make sure there is no overflowing. Screw back the metal cap and make sure it is well tightened; not doing so might cause damage to your computer’s components due to coolant leaks.COUGAR-

STEP 4
Clean the bottom of the water block and the CPU’s surface.COUGAR-Helor-

HOW TO SWITCH BETWEEN RGB CONTROL MODES BY PRESSING THE POWER BUTTON

  • This applies only to RGB devices connected to the COUGAR Core Box v2. Motherboard control is only available when the Core Box v2 is properly connected to a compatible motherboard’s 5v Addressable RGB header.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights granted under local law.

WARRANTY AGREEMENT

  • If the product has defects in material or manufacture, COUGAR will provide product repair and replacement service within the warranty period.
  • Our warranty service is based on the date of the invoice or warranty card (must be affixed with the store stamp). If you lose the aforementioned evidence, we will apply the original shipping date of the product as the beginning date of warranty period. The shipping date will be identified by the product serial number(S/N).
  • Any fault or damage caused by natural disasters (including storm, fire, flood, thunder, earthquake, etc).
  • Any fault or damage caused by accidental factors and man-made reasons (including hit, scrape, crash, moving, compression, stain, corrosion, use of incurred on unsuitable voltage, computer virus, riot, misuse, malicious damage, etc).
  • Inability to provide the product warranty card, purchase receipt or invoice to prove the product is still within the warranty period and the shipping date of the product is out of warranty.
  • The warranty card or product serial number has been altered or its number is hard to identify.
  • The warranty period has expired.
  • Any fault or damage caused by non-compliance with regulations stated on the user manual or improper, rough and careless treatment.
  • Any fault or damage caused by use of parts not certified by COUGAR original manufacturer.
  • The problem is caused by improper repair or adjustment by the buyer or any manufacturer without authorization from COUGAR.
  • The product is not acquired from an authorized distributor of the company or is acquired from illicit sources.
  • Paper carton, instruction and other accessories are not warranted.
  • COUGAR does not authorize or endorse the user of COUGAR products as a part of, together with, or connected to, life support devices, medical equipment in general, military equipment, traffic or transportation-related equipment or disaster prevention systems.
  • COUGAR is not liable for any damage, expense, loss, cost, injury or any other result derived from the use of COUGAR products not specifically for PC gaming in the compatible operative systems indicated by COUGAR.
  • COUGAR is not liable for any damage, expense, loss, cost, injury or any other result due to use of COUGAR products not in strict accordance with the instructions provided by COUGAR in the instruction manual.
  • Software, instruction manuals, consumables (for example mouse pads, mouse feet, etc.), boxes or other external packaging are not covered by the warranty.
