SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep the work area clean. Cluttered work areas increase the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Keep the workplace environment safe. Do not use the tool in damp or wet areas. Do not expose the tool to rain or damp conditions.
- Keep children at a safe distance. Keep children away from the work area. Do not allow them to handle the tool.
- Put away tools that are not being used. When not in use, store the tool in a dry place out of the reach of children.
- Do not force the tool. The tool does the job better and is safer when used at the rate for which it was designed. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Always use the correct tool for the job. Do not try to use small tools for work that requires heavy-duty tools. Only use the tool for its intended purpose.
- Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose-fitting clothing, jewelry, or watches that can get caught in moving parts. Wear a hair net if you have long hair.
- Wear approved ear protection and safety glasses. Wear an approved dust filter mask for all work that produces metal dust.
- Do not stretch over the tool. Always maintain a firm footing and good balance. Keep your hands and fingers away from the jaws when the tool is in use.
- Keep the tool in good condition.
- Keep the handles clean, dry, and free from oil and grease.
- Remove Allan keys/spanners etc. Always check that Allan keys/spanners etc. have been removed from the tool before using it.
- Stay alert. Pay attention to what you are doing at all times, and use your common sense.
- Do not use the tool when you are tired.
- Check before using the tool that it is not damaged and is working properly.
- Check that all screw connections are tight, that moving parts are correctly adjusted and can move freely, that no parts are incorrectly fitted or defective. Check for other factors that could affect the operation of the machine.
- Damaged parts must be repaired or replaced by qualified personnel before using the tool.
- Only use identical spare parts when servicing. The warranty will cease to be valid if other spare parts are used. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Never use the tool if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. If you are taking medication, read its warning text to check whether it may affect your judgment and reflexes.
- Do not use the tool if you are not sure about how it works.
- Workpieces can have sharp edges — the risk of cut injuries. Wear heavy-duty safety gloves.

ASSEMBLY
- Fasten the sheet metal folder on the workbench with screws (sold separately).
- Fit the handles on the tool brackets.
USE
Intended use
The sheet metal folder is intended for bending sheet metal with a maximum
thickness of 0.6 mm, up to an angle of 130°.
Do not attempt to bend sheet metal that is thicker than the maximum permitted
thickness for the tool.
HOW TO USE
- Lower the handles so that the adjustable jaw is parallel to the surface.
- Place the workpiece on the support plate and the adjustable jaw so that the edge to be bent is in line with the back edge of the support plate.
- Press the press jaw against the support plate so that the edge of the press jaw is in line with the back edge of the support plate.
- Bring up the two handles to bend the sheet.
WARNING
Keep your hands away from the support plate and the adjustable jaw — the risk
of pinch injuries.
MAINTENANCE
- Always check before use that the jaws are free from dirt and grease.
- Keep the moving parts on the sheet metal folder well lubricated.
- Store the tool in a dry place and out of the reach of children.
