sengled E2D-G73 Smart Window and Door Sensor G2
Introduction
The Sengled Smart Window & Door Sensor G2 enables you to know when a door or
window in your home is opened or closed. With our 3rd-party integration, you
can use the sensor as a trigger to other smart devices in your home.
Note : A hub is required to control the sensor.
Important Safety Information
Before installing the Sengled Smart Window & Door Sensor G2, please read and follow the cautions, including:
- Suitable for use in operating environment between 5°C and 40°C.

Installation Instructions
To add your Smart Sensor to a Sengled hub, follow the instructions below. If you DO NOT have a Sengled Smart Hub and Sengled Home app previously installed, please install your hub according to its user guide in the package before installing the sensor. If you have a 3rd-party hub, such as SmartThings or Amazon Echo Plus, you can also connect Sengled Smart Sensors to these hubs according to their instructions in apps. Note : Please make sure your mobile device and Sengled Smart Hub are connected to the same router. Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz (refer to wireless transmission frequency, different with the “5G” used in phones. ) are supported.
- Open the Sengled Home App, go to Devices and click “+”, then choose Smart LEDs and Accessories (used with a hub). Follow the in-app instructions for installation. Note : Install the battery first. Then you will have one minute to successfully pair it. If fail, then follow the reset instruction on the next page. Besides, your sensor will flash twice during the installation process: once you install the battery, and again when it’s paired successfully.
- Test the alignment before you adhere each piece.
- Once your sensor is successfully connected to the hub, please adhere it to the door or window with the 3M double sided tapes included. Ensure the surface to be clean before adhering your sensor.

Reset Instructions
To reset your sensor, please insert the needle included into the reset hole on the bottom and hold it for Four to Eight seconds, then release it and the LED indicator light will flash twice in red. This indicates that your sensor is starting to pair with your hub again. It will flash again when successfully paired.
Operation
Your Smart Window & Door Sensor G2 only has one operational mode. Once installed, the Smart Sensor requires nothing but battery replacement when necessary. It can also functions as a trigger, such as turning on your lights and speakers when a door is opened. Find more fun in your Sengled Home app.
Change the Battery
- Hold the bottom with your thumb and press the cover with your fingers, then slide downward.
- Remove the old battery, then install the new one with “+ “ side facing upwards.
- Replace the cover, and now your sensor is ready to go!.
Note : Once your sensor is paired, it will flash once after the battery being replaced successfully, and then goes into the sleep mode. If your sensor is not paired, it will try to join your hub immediately and last for one minute at most before going into the sleep mode.

How can the Smart Sensor be connected to the netwok if it looks offline?
Make sure your hub is online in the Sengled Home app by pulling down the home page to refresh the device status. Open and Close the window or door will trigger a status update. If your sensor is still offline, please insert the reset hole with a needle for one second and it will rejoin. If it continues to appear offline, then repeat the above step. -
Is the Sengled Smart Window & Door Sensor G2 compatible with other smart hubs?
Yes. The sensor is compatible with Samsung SmartThings and Amazon Echo Plus hubs. -
Can the status of the Smart Window and Door Sensor G2 be checked from an app?
Yes. The sensor can be monitored via the Sengled Home app as well as the Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Samsung SmartThings apps.
