Overview

The Vivint Smart Hub Lite is a user-installable hub device that is the central component of the Vivint Smart Home™ system, a fully supervised (monitored), integrated, and intelligent home security and smart home automation ecosystem.
The system — the hub and various security sensors, detectors, and smart home devices — incorporates the most advanced, sophisticated technologies and functionality available today. The hub itself provides user interaction with a numeric keypad (for PIN entry); Arm Away and Arm Stay buttons to control home protection (monitored security); Panic button to enable Emergency features; status icons to indicate real-time connectivity, AC power, battery, and system alert information; speaker and microphones for two-way talk (and alarm functionality), and an LED light bar that shows the security state.

The Smart Hub Lite includes an app that can be downloaded to the user’s mobile device and used for initial DIY setup and subsequent control of all system functions. The app interface shows time & weather, and status of the network, power, sound, and overall system security. The app makes navigation, and device configuration and operation quick and easy. This document includes a product description, illustrations, basic system operation / user functionality, as well as technical specifications, standards listings, patent, and regulatory compliance references

Operation Overview / User Functionality

The hub monitors and manages all aspects of your smart home system. Once the Smart Hub Lite is up and running, the user can perform the following functions (among others) at the hub and via the mobile app. (Editing note: make a list of hub functionality vis-àvis features available in the app only.)
