Operating Instructions
Assembly instructions and tips for attaching the protective film for the
Toniebox ®
Thank you for choosing the Hama product.
Take your time and read the following instructions and information completely.
Please keep these instructions in a safe place for futurereference.
Installation environment and preparation
- Choose a room that is as dust-free as possible for the installation step (e.g. the bathroom).
- Use a level and clean surface without a textile covering as the base for working on it.
- Place the film on the surface of the Toniebox®a and determine the subsequent direction for installation.
- Clean the surface with a microfibre cloth slightly dampened with lukewarm water.
Be aware that any marks such as dust, fingerprints, fluff, etc. will be visible once the protective film has been fitted and will have a negative impact on its adhesion.
Warning
Do not use any paper /kitchen towel or corrosive cleaning agents for the
cleaning process. These can scratch or damage the surface!
Fitting the film
Note
During this step, take care not to kink the protective film.

• Remove the transparent backing film (step 1) from the protective film. The protective film may have marked pull-off tabs for this.
• Place the protective film on the surface of the Toniebox® and align it with the cut-outs. -
• The back of the protective film has a two-part backing film. This protects the adhesive side of the protective film for the Toniebox®.
Avoid touching the adhesive side of the protective film.
• Start with the side that has no cut-outs for the Toniebox®ears.
• Lift one side of the two-part backing film and smoothes this out with credit card from the center outwards so that the backing film comes off. -
• Repeat the process with the other half of the backing film.
• For assembly, the ears on the Toniebox® must be inclined slightly.
• Take care not to kink the ears so that they are not damaged or their function is not impaired. -
• Remove the yellow backing film (step 2) from the top of the protective film.

• Use a microfibre cloth to carefully press any air bubbles out from the center to the edges.
