Installation Instructions

General Installation Instructions

These instructions should be read carefully prior to any installation and retained after completion for further reference and maintenance. Please give these instructions to the building owner/occupier after installation.

Important Safety

Exclusions to Warranty

Please Note –

Installation

  • Select a suitable mounting location to install the luminaire. Care should be given to ensure adequate ventilation for the luminaire as this luminaire operates at high temperatures_ Check that sufficient depth is available in the ceiling void and there is adequate free air ventilation around the luminaire
  • Ensure luminaire is not located in close proximity to ceiling joists, electrical cables, and pipework or insulation materials. Luminaires should not be installed where the illuminated surface is within 0 5m from the front of the fitting
  • Cut a 76mm diameter round hole in the ceiling material. This luminaire is suitable for installation in ceiling material thickness from 10rnm to 25mm
  • GU10 Mains (230V)
  • Terminate the 230V supply cable max 2 x 1.5mm loop in — loop out ensuring the correct polarity s observed This luminaire is designed to accept up to a 60W GU10 Lamp. THIS LUMINAIRE IS CLASS I CONSTRUCTION USED WITH GU10 LED MAINS LAMPS, AND MUST BE EARTHED.
  • Offer the luminaire through the aperture. bend back the springs and push gently into the ceiling. Do not install the laminate onto new plaster or wet paint
  • Remove the Twistlock lamp retaining ring by twisting in an anti-clockwise direction Insert the appropriate lamp type, position the lamp into the retaining clip Return the retaining ling into the luminaire housing, and hyist firmly in a clockwise direction to lock the ring into position
  • Restore the power supply, switch on and test for correct operation
  • Important Installation Advice:
  • Im is recommended to allow a void of space around the downlight
  • When used with 50W GU10 is not suitable to be installed into flammable material.

Maintenance:

  1. Lamp Cap GU10 Maximum wattage – 5CW
  2. 4Lite recommends the use of recognized branded lamps

TROUBLESHOOTING

My lights won t pair in the wi Connected App or an optimal pairing experience with wi Connected products make sure your wuss router is operating on 4Gr or alternatively  follow the in-App support to pair the products manually or that with the support team

Check that Ms lamp or trip is within Whal raps.
Check that your phone is connected to the 2.4GHZ wi-fi on your home routes.
You can switch back to 5 GHz after paring is done
Follow the prompts on the yam app screen
How do I make sure my lights are In parring mode?
When you repeatedly power ON your light It should be Stat to pulse in blue color light or when to tumble white Of dimmable Light).
The pulsing means your light is reedy so pair.
If no light Is fount try Manual Setup
I am not sure how to connect to the 2.4Ghz networks_ What should I do?
Tap on Try manual setup’. Walt for the next Sceran to open and follow the Instructions, Which will make you open the Wi-Fi settings of your phone and connect to wi-fi WIZCsatig_XXXX
When The light is in MUnal Setup mode and emails a WI-Fi signal it will pulse in purple (calor light Or white (tunable White dimmable light).
Still, having a problem? Contact the support team via app.
Waning; Dimmer switch is net supported by wiz lights and may damage the product
If will warn to use it regardless make sure the dimmer is ai 100%.
Tip! Metalitiencleaed shades or futares may hamper connectivity.
