Installation Instruction
General Installation Instructions
These instructions should be read carefully prior to any installation and
retained after completion for further reference and maintenance. Please give
these instructions to the building owner/occupier after installation.
Important Safety
- Before installation, maintenance, or lamp replacement, ensure that the mains supply to the luminaire is switched off and the circuit supply fuses are removed or the circuit breaker is turned off is recommended that only a qualified electrical contractor carries out the installation of this luminaire and that the luminaire is installed in compliance with the current edition of the IEE Wiring
- Regulations The person carrying out the installation is to check and verify that the total load on the circuit, including that of this luminaire, does not exceed the rating of the circuit cable, fuse, or circuit breaker Where a luminaire incorporates discharge control gear (inductive load), the circuit o avoid nuisance tripping of the protective device used in the installation.

Ratings
- All luminaires are manufactured & tested in compliance with the requirement contained within BS EN 60598 and are CE marked.
- All luminaires that are of Class 1 construction and that are marked accordingly, MUST be earthed
- All luminaires are designed to operate at 230Volts AC 6%/+10% 216Vots to 252Volts. Do not operate outside these voltages
- All luminaires are only suitable for applications within their rated Ingress Protection limits as stated.
- This luminaire is designed for internal use only.
Exclusions to Warranty
Please Note: The limited warranty shall be null and void in the
following circumstances Failure by the installer, end-user, or any third party
to exercise caution to protect any covered product or part from outside
damage, adverse temperature (normal operating ambient temperature 0-25°C),
humidity conditions, fluctuations in the electrical system or physical abuse
as well as failure related to the workmanship in the installation of the
products or parts.
Installation
Select a suitable mounting location to install the luminaire. Care should be
given to ensure adequate ventilation for the luminaire as this luminaire
operates at high temperatures. Check that sufficient depth is available in the
ceiling void and there is adequate free air ventilation around the luminaire
Ensure the luminaire is not located in close proximity to ceiling joists,
electrical cables, and pipe work or insulation materials. Luminaires should
not be installed where the illuminated surface is within 0.Sm from the front
of the fitting. Cut an 80mm diameter round hole in the ceiling material. This
luminaire is suitable for installation in ceiling material thicknesses from
10mm to 25mm. GU10 Mains (230V) Terminate the 230V supply cable max 2 x 1.5mm
loop in-Loop out, ensuring the correct polarity is observed. This luminaire is
designed to accept up to a 50W GU10 Lamp.
THIS LUMINAIRE IS CLASS I CONSTRUCTION USED WITH GU10 LED MAINS LAMPS, AND
MUST BE EARTHED
offer the luminaire through the aperture, bend back the springs and push
gently into the ceiling. Do not install the luminaire onto new plaster or wet
paint. Remove the Twistiock lamp retaining ring by twisting it in an anti-
clockwise direction. Insert the appropriate lamp type, and position the lamp
into the retaining clip. Return the retaining ring into the luminaire housing
and twist firmly in a clockwise direction to lock the ring into position.
Restore the power supply. switch on and test for correct operation. Important
Installation Advice: It is recommended to allow a void of space around the
downlight. When used with 50W GU10 not suitable to be installed into flammable
material.

TROUBLESHOOTING
My lights won’t pair in the Wiz Connected App. For an optimal pairing experience with Wiz Connected products, make sure your WiFi router is operating on 2.4GHz or alternatively follow the in-App support to pair the products manually or chat with the support team.
Check that the lamp or bulb is within Wi-Fi range. Check that your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on your home router. You can switch back to 5 GHz after pairing is done. Follow the prompts on your app screen. How do I make sure my lights are in pairing mode? When you repeatedly power ON your light, it should start to pulse in blue (color light) or white (tunable white or dimmable light). The pulsing means your light is ready to pair f no light is found, try Manual Setup l am not sure how to connect to the 24 GHz network. What should I do? Tap on Try manual setup. Wait for the next screen to open and follow the instructions, which will make you open the Wi-Fi settings of your phone and connect to WiHF WIZConfig XXXX When the light is in Manual Setup mode and emits a W-Fi signal it will pulse in purple (color light) or white (tunable white or dimmable light). Warning: Dimmer switches are not supported by WiZ lights and may damage the product. f you want to use it regardless, make sure the dimmer is at 100s Tip! Metallic/enclosed shades or fixtures may hamper connectivity.
