Installation Instructions

  1. Confirm all components received.

  2. Verify the electrical plan and all necessary surge protection requirements.

  3. Ensure latest firmware is running and update as necessary. See Product Guide for complete instructions.

  4. Installation planning

  5. Make sure power is OFF.

  7. Remove cover and appropriate seal plugs.

  8. Tighten cable connectors to manufacturers specification and torque seal plug to approximately 19 in-lb (2.2 Nm). For wet or damp locations, seal all points of entry to prevent water infiltration. Use RTV silicone and weatherproof junction boxes.

  9. Connect data – DMX

  11. Attach power cable
    For use in permanently connected (fixed) Installations only.

  12. Connect luminaire cable
    For use in permanently connected (fixed) Installations only.

  13. Connect luminaire cable – iColor Accent Powercore

  14. Secure cover

  15. Turn the power ON.

IMPORTANT

  1. Verify power is off before installing or de-installing
  2. Do not attempt to install or use the Data Enabler Pro until you have read and understand the installation instructions and safety labels.
  3. Do not use the Data Enabler Pro for any voltage for which it is not rated. Do not exceed the specified voltage and current input rating. Only for use with specified Color Kinetics Lighting products.
  4. It is the end user’s responsibility to comply with these installation instructions and to determine appropriate conductor size to permanently connect the incoming facility, and to provide means for disconnecting the system
  5. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense
  6. This Class A digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.
  7. Warning – This is a class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio frequency interference in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures
