Use
Switching on/off
Switching on
-
Press the ON/OFF switch 6.
The status LED 7 flashes red rapidly. The soldering iron 1 heats up. -
As soon as the status LED 7 lights up green, the soldering iron 1 is ready for use.
NOTE
-
After 10 minutes, the appliance switches off automatically and reverts to cooling mode.
Press the ON/OFF switch 6 again to reheat the appliance. -
Before using the soldering station for the first time and before using a new soldering tip, the soldering tip q must first be tinned.
Switching off
NOTE
After use, always put the soldering iron 1 back into the holder for the soldering iron 3.
Press the ON/OFF switch 6 again. The status LED 7 flashes red slowly for
around 10 minutes.
This is the cool-down mode and is intended to warn the user that the soldering
iron 1 is still dangerously hot.
NOTE
- After the status LED 7 has gone out, leave the soldering iron 1 in the holder for the soldering iron 3 for at least 30 minutes to cool down.

Soldering
Vapours can lead to headaches and fatigue if inhaled.
- Thanks to its design, it is especially suitable for hard-to-reach areas and fine soldering work.
- Clean the soldering tip q on the wet soldering sponge 2.
- After cleaning, the soldering tip q must be tinned. Tin the hot soldering tip q by melting some solder w.
- Direct the soldering tip q to the soldering location and heat it.
- Place the solder w between the soldering location and soldering tip q to melt it.
- Keep feeding solder w until the entire solder joint is covered.
- Then withdraw the soldering tip q immediately to prevent the molten solder from overheating.
- Allow the solder to harden and avoid any knocks or vibrations.
NOTE
The flux is either included in the solder or applied separately. When you buy the solder, ask about the kind of applications it is suitable for and the appropriate flux.
