NOTICE: The above data has been measured in accordance with the international flashlight testing standards ANSI/NEMA FL1 using a built-in Li- ion battery (3.7V 610mAh) under laboratory conditions. The data may vary slightly during real-world use due to battery type, individual usage habits and environmental factors. The runtime for Turbo mode is the testing result before starting temperature regulation.

Operation Instruction

NU25 has two switches as shown in the diagram:

Main Light

ON/OFF

  • Turn on: When the light is off, tap the main switch to turn on the main light and enter the lowest brightness level.
  • Turn off: After the light is switched on, either wait for 3 seconds then press any switch to turn off the light, or press and hold the red light switch to turn off the light right away.

Within 3 seconds after the light is turned on, tap the main switch in succession to cycle through Low-Mid-High-OFF.

Auxiliary White Light

ON/OFF

  • Turn on: When the light is off, press and hold the main switch for 1 second to turn on the auxiliary white light.
  • Turn off: After the light is switched on, either wait for 3 seconds then press any switch to turn off the light, or press and hold the red light switch to turn off the light right away.

Auxiliary Red Light

ON/OFF

  • Turn on: When the light is off, tap the red light switch to enter the red light (low).
  • Turn off: After the light is switched on, either wait for 3 seconds then press any switch to turn off the light, or press and hold the red light switch to turn off the light right away.

    Within 3 seconds after the red light is turned on, tap the red light switch in succession to cycle through Red Light (low)-Red Light (high)-Red Caution Light-OFF.

Direct Access to Turbo

When the main light is on, press and hold the main switch for 1 second to enter Turbo (360 lumens).
NOTE: The Turbo mode will run for 30 second before it steps down to prevent overheating. The TURBO mode can be reactivated immediately, but if the NU25 is still overheated, the light will remain at lower level to protect the components and prevent damage caused by overheating.

SOS/Location Beacon

In any state (non-locking), press and hold the main switch for 3 seconds to enter SOS, press the main switch again within a 3 second interval to activate location beacon. Press the main switch again will turn off the light. To exist special modes at any time, wait for 3 seconds then press any switch to turn off the light.

Lockout/Unlock

In any state (non-locking), press the two switches simultaneously to lockout the NU25. A red indicator will blink once to notify the user. In lockout state, the NU25 cannot be turned on. If any switch is pressed, the red indicator will blink once to notify user. To unlock, press the two switches simultaneously again to activate the NU25 and enter the Low mode.

Power Tips

When the NU25 is turned off, press and hold the red light switch, the red indicator will blink to report its remaining power:

  1.  3 flashes represent battery level above 50%.
  2. 2 flashes represent battery level below 50%.
  3. 1 flash represents battery level below 10%.

NOTE: Recharge the NU25 when its output appears to be dim or the flashlight becomes unresponsive.

Recharging

This product is USB rechargeable. Connect one end of the USB cable to the charging port of the NU25 and the other end to a power supply as shown in the diagram. Under normal charging conditions, a red indicator will illuminate steady. When charging is complete, the NU25 will automatically terminate charging and the red indicator will turn green. It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge the headlamp. After fully charged, the standby time is approximately 1 year.

Caution

  1. CAUTION! Possible dangerous radiation! Don’t look into the light! Maybe dangerous for your eyes.
  2. Do not assemble or modify this product, as doing so voids the warranty.

Warranty Service

All NITECORE products are warranted for quality. DOA/defective products can be exchanged for replacement through a local distributor/dealer within the 15 days of purchase. After 15 days, all defective / malfunctioning NITECORE® products will be repaired free of charge for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. After 24 months, a limited warranty applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of accessories or replacement parts.

The warranty is nullified in all of the following situations:

  1. The product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed and/or modified by unauthorized parties.
  2.  The product(s) is/are damaged through improper use.
