TIPS for Passive Pickup and Active Pickup

  • If your guitar or bass is loaded with passive pickups, you may want to turn the Cabletone effect ON for better tone. Active pickups and electric-preamp loaded acoustic pickups normally sound better with the Cabletone effect OFF. While playing, press the RECEIVER button to experiment the difference.
  • If you are using active pickups, in order to reduce noise, it is suggested to keep more distance between the transmitter and the internal circuits of your guitar or bass.
  • Active circuits generally use TRS output jacks, but different guitars can have different wirings to the ring and sleeve. Therefore, some guitars loaded with active pickups may not work with this type of transmitter. If this problem occurs, try to use a female to male adaptor to convert the stereo plug of the transmitter to a mono plug, and then plug into the guitar. Charging the Transmitter
Each time you turn on the transmitter, its LED will show the battery status before it starts pairing:

To charge the transmitter, plug the transmitter into the INPUT jack of the MIGHTY AIR, and the MIGHTY AIR will charge power to the transmitter. When it is being charged, the LED on the transmitter shows Red, and the LED turns off when it’s fully charged. It works for approximated 3.5 hours when it is fully charged.
IMPORTANT WARNING: NEVER connect a STEREO cable between an external device and the INPUT jack on the MIGHTY AIR. There is risk to damage the external device by doing so!
