Safety Precautions

Warnings

  • Do not install or operate the dashcam with wet hands;
  • Do not install the dashcam in the high-temperature, high-humidity, flammable and combustible environments, liquid, and any area that may block the driver’s line of sight and endanger their life;
  • Do not store the main body or auxiliary engine in the closed vehicle under high temperature;
  • Do not exceed its rated voltage;
  • Only the original connecting line and power cable can be used.
  • Our company shall not be liable for any damage incurred by the use of other cables;
  • Do not use sharp items such as hammers to pierce through the main body, auxiliary engine, and accessories;
  • Do not disassemble the main body, auxiliary engine, wires, and accessories without authorization;
  • Keep out of reach of children during working and installation.

Notes

  • Do not extrude the camera lens forcefully;
  • In case of any foreign body on the camera of the main body or auxiliary engine, do not directly touch its surface with your fingers to avoid affecting its shooting effect;
  • Do not immediately remove the memory card during shutdown to avoid any file damage;
  • Please remove the memory card if you don’t intend to use it for a long time to ensure its working performance;
  • It is significant to format the memory card before your first use to ensure its stable reading;

Component Guide

Power Key 1. Set the main body’s menu in the menu interface, and press the key to return to the upper interface 2. Long press for 3s to power off

  1. Under the recording mode, press OK to enter the camera mode, and press again to have a screenshot (save as a picture);
  2. Under the recording mode, press OK once to enter the camera mode, press two times to enter the playback interface, press three times to enter the photo look-back interface, and press four times to return to the main interface

Sensor Function: Wave hands in the upper left (sensor) of the display. Wave hands once to mute and only show warning images, and wave again to turn the volume on, and the speaker icon will show in the middle of the display

III Installation Guides
Installation Positions

  • Do not install the dashcam in the area that may block the driver’s line of sight and endanger life
  • Try to install the dashcam near the inside rearview mirror to ensure the best image vision;
  • Install the dash cam within the wiper’s cleaning range to ensure a clear recording on a rainy day;
  • Do not install the dashcam within the airbag movement range;
  • Do not install the dashcam on the car insulation paper to avoid any damage;
  • Install the dashcam in a proper position that can avoid the effect of car insulation paper, and avoid installing it near interfering electronic products.

Avoid installing the dashcam within the working range of airbags or their covers. The company shall not be liable for any damage or death incurred by vehicle collision or airbags.
Installation Methods
Aim the magnetic transfer slide buckle at the mounting buckle on the main engine. Hold the main body and mount with your hands, and aim the mount at the buckle on the main engine; Select a proper position (such as the right rear side or center of the rearview mirror), attach the suction mount to the windshield and rotate the mount clockwise to lock; Adjust the recording angle (it is the best angle that the car head shows in the middle of the display);
Note: The mount can be replaced by 3M sticker. Select a proper position, tear the protective paper and paste into the front windshield (do not move within 24 hours)

V ON/OFF Instructions

  • Auto Boot
    Insert the memory card into the slot and connect the car charger to the Mini USB port of the main engine and the automobile cigarette lighter to start the car and the main engine will automatically power on;

  • Manual Boot
    Please ensure that the main engine has been connected to the power, then long- press the key (power switch) on the main engine to manually power on;

  • Auto Shutdown
    Please ensure that the main engine has been powered on. At this time, the main engine will automatically power off after the car stalls or you remove the car charger.

  • Manual Shutdown
    Please ensure that the main engine has been powered on. At this time, long- press the main engine off-key (power switch) for 3s to power

  • Warm Note
    Remove the memory card after the main engine is completely powered off to avoid any file damage.

Music

| The voice will be shielded in case of GPS and radar broadcast, and it only broadcasts music. The display shows all measurement information.

The detecting radar determines whether or not the voice broadcasting will be used according to the driving speed (for example: if 60km/h is set and its driving speed is lower than 60km/h(≦ 60km/h), the display will show all information detected, and there is no voice broadcast. If the driving speed is higher than 60km/h (>60km/h), the display will show all information detected and meanwhile voice broadcast is used)

Driving Tracking Playback|

Track driving path. Support GPS positioning. After a successful GPS positioning, the camera will adjust time according to GPS. It also records and keeps the driving coordinate and speed. WMGPS player on the PC can show GPS information while playing videos and meanwhile connect to Google Map to show your driving path.

Warm Notes : Please remove the machine and car charge if you will leave your car for a long time;
Do not save the device in the humidor high-temperature environment;
Remove the memory card if you don’t intend to use it for a long time to ensure its working performance.
IX Termly Update GPS Data Points
Download the corresponding data software on the specified website, and copy to the memory card. Insert the memory card into the main engine. After it is electrified, it will automatically copy all data to the storage space of the main engine. In terms of the specified website, please contact the seller.
X Data Download Instructions

  1. Connect the TF card (or the memory card of the dashcam) to the computer via a reader ­ enter the website (http://www.wmgpsradar.com/cloud/specification/SD_UpdateDV.bin), then an interface pops up ­ click to browse the menu and directly save it on the TF card ­ click download.

  2. Insert the TF card with data package into the dashcam when it is powered off, then connect it to the power. At this time, the dashcam will show the following images. Power off again after it completes, and try to restart.

XII Troubleshooting

Fail to power on

  • Check whether the main engine is normally electrified;
  • Remove the power USB cable, then reboot the main engine;
  • Press the rest key on the bottom of the main engine once, then insert into DC5V power again.

Fail to show shooting images on the display

  • Check whether the screen display function is turned off under the recording mode.
  • Short press the power key to turn it on;
  • Check whether screen protection is set.
  • Change such setting in the “auto screen off” in menu settings.

The main engine fails to playback

  • Check whether you have changed images or file names saved on the memory card;
  • Check whether images or files have been processed by your computer, or they weren’t recorded by the main engine
  • The memory card is damaged;
  • Contact our customer service personnel if the above-mentioned information isn’t helpful.
