Thank you for choosing the EM2GO electric vehicle charging station.
With this unit you have chosen a high-precision charger equipped with many
safety-relevant protective devices, which guarantees an all-around carefree
charging of your vehicle.
Important Note :
Please read these important safety instructions for charging your vehicle.
Please keep this user manual. The charger has many safety functions. Read all
safety information and warnings in this manual to become aware of possible
dangers.
Warning
Basic precautions should always be followed when using electrical products.
This manual contains important instructions, including the following, which
are required and must be followed during installation, operation, and
maintenance.
- Do not install or use the charger near explosive, caustic, or flammable materials, chemicals, or vapors.
- Switch off the input power of the charger before installing or servicing the charger.
- The device is only designed for vehicles that are compatible with the IEC 62196 charging standard.
- Do not use the charger if it is cracked, frayed, broken, or damaged
- Do not try to open, disassemble, repair, manipulate or modify the device If you have any questions or repairs, please contact our customer service.
- Do not use the charger when you are in the vehicle or when exposed to heavy rain, snow, or severe weather.
- Be careful when transporting the charger.
- Do not touch the charging connector with sharp metal objects
- Do not pull the charging cable with force or with sharp objects
Warning
The device must be installed, adjusted, and serviced by qualified electricians
or people who are familiar with the construction and operation of this type of
EV-Charger Failure to follow this precaution could result in death or serious
injury.
- Incorrect installation and testing of the charger can lead to damage No liability is assumed for the resulting damage.
- Make sure that the charging cable is well-positioned during the charging process cannot be walked on, damaged or burdened.
- Check the wire diameter according to the local electrical requirements

Important Note:
According to §19 NAV of March 21, 2019, the operation of charging devices
for electric vehicles must be reported to the responsible electricity provider
before use (from 11 KW) and before installation (from 22 KW). This can also be
done by the commissioned electrician. Please contact your electricity provider
by phone or online for more information.
Assembly
To install the charging station, follow the Installation Instructions on pages
5 and 6 of this manual.

Display
The high-resolution color display of the EM2GO charging unit shows you the
following information:
- Real-lime charging power
- 3-phase data (voltage and current)
- Charging time
- Power consumption
- Charging unit temperature
- Status display
LED strip displays
The LED strip signals the status of the charger: 1. No LED indication: Not in operation. 2. LED permanently green: Charger is connected. 3. LED green running: Charging in process 4. LED permanently green: Charging process complete 5. LED flashes red: There is a defect.
NOTE: If the LED strip flashes red, the protection electronics of the EV
charger were addressed. In this case, please disconnect the mobile charger
from the electric vehicle and from the power grid. Submit the connections,
cables, and charger to a visual inspection. If there are no visual defects,
reconnect everything. If the red LED continues to flash, disconnect the
charger from the electric vehicle and the mains supply and contact your
specialist consultant. Do not use the EV charger.
Charge vehicles
- First, insert the CEE plug of the charger into a suitable socket.
- Remove the protective cap of the type 2 plug and connect it to the vehicle’s charging socket. Please note that the vehicle must be prepared and adjusted for charging. The charging process begins. If you have purchased the charging station as a socket type (ST), first connect your type 2 charging cable to the type 2 socket of the charging station, and then to the charging connection of your electric vehicle.
- When charging is complete, remove the Type 2 plug from the vehicle’s charging socket. Put the protective cap back
NOTE: On some models, charging does not start automatically. In this
case, press the switch on the charging unit.
Assembly instructions
Please take into account that the connection cable of the charging unit is
only 150 cm (t5%), your three-phase connection socket should be in this area.
Once the wall charger has been installed, switch off the fuse of the three-
phase connection socket and connect the charging unit to the CEE socket. You
can now switch on the fuse. The charging unit is equipped with a residual-
current device (Type A RCD + 6ma DC-filter). Please make sure that your three-
phase socket is equipped with suitable residual-current devices. Mounting

Place the paper template on the wall where you want to place the charging
station. Make sure that the CEE power connection is within a radius of 1.5
meters. Drill holes according to the paper template.|
Insert and countersink the dowels in the drill holes. Remove the paper
template.|
Screw the mounting plate to the wall with the 30 mm screws. The hooks must
point upwards.|
Place the charging station with the backside from above on the holding plate.
Make sure that the eyelets are correctly positioned in the hooks of the
holding plate.|
(ST) Screw the type 2 plug of the charging station into the drill holes
provided.|
Mount the holder for the charging connection and the hook for holding the
cable also on the wall.|

Important notice:
According to §19 NAV of March 21, 2019, the operation of charging equipment
for electric vehicles must be reported to the responsible grid operator before
use (from 11 KW), as well as before installation (from 22 KW). This can also
be done by the commissioned electrical installer. Please inform yourself in
this regard at your electricity provider by phone or online.
Warranty and maintenance
- The warranty period for this charger is two years.
- The warranty expires if:
- No proof of purchase can be provided.
- The warranty period specified by the manufacturer is exceeded.
- The instructions for use, maintenance, and storage are not followed.
- Damage or malfunction is caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
- In case of repair, disassembly, or modification by unauthorized persons.
- Damage caused by force majeure (such as lightning, overvoltage, earthquake, fire, flood, etc.).
- Damage and malfunctions are caused by other avoidable external factors.
- Damage and malfunction caused by improper use of the equipment, such as the ingress of water or other liquids.
- Damage and malfunction caused by the mains power supply and a voltage not specified for use with the charger.
