  1. The intended use of this appliance Is explained in this manual. The use of accessories other than those recommended In this manual may present a risk of personal injury.

WARNING: Disconnect from the main supply before carrying out any routine maintenance.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
    knowledge they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a sale way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
    children without supervision.

  • Children ages 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appli­ance provided it is placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a sale way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user

  • This Multi-Purpose Chopper Is intended exclusively for the processing of small quantities of boneless foodstuffs or for the whipping of cream.
  • DO NOT SUBMERSE THE MOTOR BLOCK OF THE UNIVERSAL FOOD PROCESSOR IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. DO NOT PERMIT LIQUIDS TO PENETRATE INTO THE HOUSING OF THE MOTOR BLOCK.
  • BEFORE REMOVING THE MOTOR BLOCK, WAIT UNTIL THE KNIFE HAS STOPPED ROTATING. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HOLD THE KNIFE BLADE WHEN IN USE. RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY!
  • DO NOT RUN THE UNIVERSAL FOOD PROCESSOR FOR MORE THAN ONE MINUTE AT A TIME. AFTER THIS PERIOD ALLOW IT TO COOL DOWN. DO NOT EXCEED FILLING QUANTITIES. EXCEEDING THESE QUANTITIES MAY CAUSE FOOD SPILLAGE HAZARDS.
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE FOOD FROM THE BOWL (7) WHEN THE BLADE (5) IS STILL IN MOTION. CONTENTS COULD SHOOT OUT AND MAKE A MESS.
  • WAIT UNTIL THE BLADE (5) HAS STOPPED ROTATING.
  • LIFT THE MOTOR BLOCK (2) FROM THE LID (3).
  • REMOVE THE LID (3).

TO AVOID INJURIES EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING THE EXTREMELY SHARP BLADE (5). KEEP THE BLADE (5) OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

  • CAREFULLY PULL THE BLADE HOLDER ( 4) WITH THE BLADE (5) OUT OF THE BOWL (7).
  • REMOVE THE CONTENTS.

CHOPPING

NOTE: Before using the appliance for the first time, clean it thoroughly as per the instructions given in the chapter “Cleaning”.

  • Place the bowl (7) on a flat even surface.
    Place the blade holder ( 4) with the
    Blade (5) on the mounting (6).
    Make sure it is fitted securely.

  • Prepare the items to be processed by cutting large pieces to a size that will fit in the bowl (7).

  • Place the food to be processed in the bowl (7). Thereby, take note of the following table:

RECOMMENDED

  • Foodstuffs: up to the 350ml marking
  • Liquids: 200ml

NOTE:
Should larger pieces of the contents collect on the wall of the bowl white processing, lift the motor block from the lid collar. Shake the bowl well and then continue with the processing. Before processing, particularly hard foods must be cut into smaller pieces (about 2cm).
For this press the top operational button repeatedly for a short time. Should the foodstuff not be completely pulverized you can either cut it into smaller pieces or lift the motor block from the lid. Shake the bowl vigorously and then continue with the processing.
When the contents have been sufficiently chopped, release the top operational button.

  • Unplug the power cable from the socket.
  • Remove the motor block and the lid from the bowl. The blade holder and knives can, if you wish remain in the bowl.

CLEANING
Always remove the plug from the power socket before cleaning the universal food processor. Under no circumstances may the appliance be immersed in water or held under running water during cleaning.
To avoid injuries, exercise caution when handling the extremely sharp blade. Reassemble the universal food processor after using it and clean it so that you do not injure yourself on the exposed blade. Keep the blade out of the reach of children.

  • Do not clean the motor block in the dishwasher.
  • Unplug the power cable from the socket.
  • Clean the motor block and the blade holder with the blade using a sponge or damp cloth.
  • Clean the bowl, the whisk attachment, the lid, and the base under running water and use a tea towel to dry them well. Attachments can also be washed in the dishwasher.

TROUBLESHOOT/NG  SYMPTOM

The Universal Food Processor will not switch itself on.

POSSIBLE CAUSE AND REMEDY

  • A domestic electrical fuse is defective. Check the fuses and replace them if necessary,
  • The power socket is defective. Try another power socket.
  • The universal food processor is possibly defective, Check the power cable and the power plug tor damage.
  • Arrange for the appliance to be checked by a qualified electrician,

CLASS II DOUBLE INSULATED APPLIANCES (2 CORE) PLUG

  1. This appliance has been fitted with a BS UK-compliant plug which should not be replaced or removed.
  2. The plug is fitted with a UK-compliant fuse link which is suitable for this type of appliance and should only be replaced by a fuse link of the same rating,
  3. 11 access to the fuse link is only possible by removing the plug cover this must only be done by a suitably qualified person.
  4. If the plug or the mains cable of this appliance is damaged do not use and dispose of the appliance responsibly.
  5. This appliance is a Class 2 appliance protected by double-reinforced insulation and does not require earthing. Class 2 appliances are indicated by this symbol marked on the appliance rating plate,
