User Manual

Part 1: Quick Start Guide

  1. Scan the QR code or download thy, “PlusMinus”APP at www.plusminus.ai/app
  2. Register an account with your email and login App.
  3. Add device and select the Device Type;
  4. Switch the light bulb in-off-on-off-on, it should be noticeably breathing. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the installation.
  5. Add device using Bluetooth While the light bulb is noticeably breathing. Check that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on and click add device in the app, the device set up mode will be detected automatically. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the installation.

Part 2: How to connect to Alexa

Method 1: App to App

  1. Add devices to the “PlusMinus” App and keep them online;

  2. Log in to your Amazon account in the “Amazon Alexa” App;

  3. Open the PlusMinus app and then click the”Smart integrations” button on the right upper corner.
    Afterward, choose the link to “Amazon Alexa”,

  4. Click ” Sign in with Amazon” and then follow the instruction to link the skill.

Method 2

  1. Add devices to the “PlusMinus” app;
  2. Launch “Amazon Alexa” choose “Skills” from the menu;
  3. Search “PlusMinus” skill and click “ENABLE”;
  4. Enter your “PlusMinus” Account and Password, then click “Link Now”;
  5. Control devices by voice. “Alexa, turn off the light.” “Alexa, turn on the living room lights.”

Part 3: How to connect to Google Home

Method 1: APP to APP

  1. Log in to your Google account in Google Home.
  2. Open the PlusMinus app and click the “Smart Integrations” button on the right upper corner. Afterward, choose the link to “Google Assistant”.
  3. Click “Link with Google Assistant” and it will take you to an authorization page Click “Agree and Link”.
  4. Now your smart devices should be listed on the Home Control page and you can control them with your voice, via the Google Home devices.

Method 2: Google Flip

  1. Launch “Google Home” and click the “+Add” button, then choose “+ Set up device”;
  2. Then at the bottom of the list, click “Have something already set up?”
  3. Search and choose “PlusMinus” in the list, it will take you to the authorization page, click “Agree and Link”;
  4. Now your smart devices should be listed on the Home Control page and you can control them with your voice via the Google Home devices

  1. How do I connect multiple devices at one time?
    You can put all devices in configuration mode, and connect them to the APP simultaneously. You can also connect one bulb in the APP and then use the “Search device” to connect other devices,

  2. How to divide my Wi-A into 2.4Gh7 and 5Ghz?
    LUMIMAN light bulb supports most dual-band Wi-Fi routers, if the device tab to connect the APP, please log in to your Wi-Fi router’s setting page, uncheck “Keep a common network name (SSID) and password for both 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bands.” or edit the name of the 5.0 GHz band to differ it from the 2.4GHz band.

  3. What can I do when my device(s) fail to connect to the APP by EZ and AP mode? Switch off the Wi-Fi router. Find another phone and set up a personal hotspot as a Wi-Fi network The Wi-Fi SSID and password for that hotspot should be the same as the ones set for your Wi-Fi router. After the device has connected successfully, you can switch off the personal hotspot and switch on the Wi-Fi router. The light bulb should connect to the Wi-Fi router automatically.

  4. Why does my app need to allow my location permission?
    IOS 13 and Android 6.0 or higher need your permission to access your location so that the APP can scan your Wi-Fi list.

  5. One device connected successfully but the other failed. it may be that your Wi-H router has reached the maximum number of devices allowed to connect to a therefore the other device is not allowed to connect. Most Wi-Fi routers only support 15-20 devices. You can check the Wi-Fi router settings or try using “Search device” to connect to the other device.
