BEVA CM84 Handheld GPS Glonass Beidou Length And Land Area Measure

Calculation Meter

Welcome to use the GPS area measurer. This product is high performance, simple operation and a functional instrument. To make sure you can get right accurate measuring result, please read this carefully before using this product. We believe it will become your work right-hand man in area measurement when you master it. Please be sure to use the power adapter for this device to the master charging machine. The picture in the manual is only for reference.

The key introduction

There are totally 9 function keys, they are

  1. Area measurement, there are two kinds of measurement methods:auto track measurement, and collected points measurement.
  2. Length measurement, there are two kinds ofmeasurement methods: auto track measurement, and 2 points distance measurement
  3. Long press the power on/off.
  4. Return to previous menu.
  5. Move the cursor up or implement plus function.
  6. Move the cursor down or implement reduce function.
  7. To start or end measurement or complete setting.
  8. etting for unit price, slope, unit of area and unit oflength, LCD brightness and time UTC.
  9. Review the measured records.

Introduce the content of screen

After power on the main interface as below(there are slight differences based on the status of device setting)

The symbols in different interface represents the meaning described below:

  1. GLONASS positioning condition: Zero lattice signal representation is not positioned,1~5 lattices is represented separately poor, medium, excellent quality of positioning. In order to ensure the accuracy of measuring results,we strongly recommend that you start to measure after the signal reach 3.
  2. GPS positioning condition: Zero lattice signal representation is not positioned,1~5 lattices is represented separately poor, medium, excellent quality of positioning . In order to ensure the accuracy of measuring results,we strongly recommend that you start to measure after the signal reach 3.
  3. Positioning accuracy: represent the current level of precision
  4. Time: represent local time
  5. Battery status: represent current battery status, the more the grid cells is, the more power is.
  6. Longitude & latitude: represent current longitude and latitude.
  7. GLONASSsignalintensity.
  8. GPS signal intensity.

Basic setting

At the main memu, press the key

Under this menu, press the key or select the setting you need then press the key。 When the selection flashing, press the or key can adjust the figures。 Press the or key without release, can adjust figures quickly。

Afterset the figure you need, press the key to the home menu, the figure is already saved.

  1. Price setting: It has the function of calculating price according to the measurement of land area。 First, you set the price for unit area, then the total price is equal to the unit price multiply the land area.
  2. Slope setting: Set the correct slope values can increase the accuracy of measurement. The slop value is 0 when there is no slop.
  3. Area uint setting: Theunitcanbesquarefeet, square meters, acres&HA.
  4. Length unit setting: Theunitcanbesetfeet, meters, kilometers &mi
  5. LCD Brightness setting: You can set the screen brightness on the settings interface. You can also press the up / down button when you need to adjust the screen brightness in the measurement. Becausethebrighter the screen is, the more energy consumption,we suggest taking the brightness you can see clearly the standard in order to extend the battery life.Current time =Greenwich time+ time zoneoffset time.Suchas the timeof Eastern United States is 4 hours less than Greenwich time, so the time need to be set to:-4:00.

All selected function settings are finished, press the key to the home menu.

Auto-track area measurement Firstly: press the key , to choose the measurement method you need, and set the unit price 、area unit 、Length unit and slope.

Secondly, ensure the device is in a good state of satellite positioning, press the key to start measurement.It will displays the current area in real-time at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the following figure:

Thirdly, take the GPS area measurer and walk around the targeted land, a circle around the area to be measured,then press the key to end of area measurement, the result of measurement is displayed onscreen, pressthe key to view current results and final path graphics, as shown in the following figure.

Note: when in a non-linear measuring, the speed is best not too fast or not too slow(normal walking speed),it can improve the accuracy of measurement, But in a straight line segment from impact speed.

Collected points area measurement: Firstly:press the key to choose the measurement of the collected point, and set the unit price 、area 、and slope.

Secondly, ensure the device is in good state of satellite positioning, press the key to start collected points measurement, Itwilldisplaysthe current area and lengthen real-time at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the following figure: Thirdly, press the key to add a point, the bottom f screen displays the current area and length, as shown in the following figure.

Fourth, step over operations, until all the joints are complete, press the key to end display the measurement result. Thenpressthekey between graphic and track the results, as shown in the following figure:BEVA-CM84-Handheld-GPS-

If fewer than three points, it will remind too few points to constitute an area of computing, you need to continue sampling. Appearasbelow:

Secondly, press the key , and walk around the block, the system will display the distanceinr ealtime, as shown in following:

Thirdly, press the key toendthe length measurement, the measured result will bes hown as below:

2pointsmeasurement, Ifyouwanttomeasurethestraight-linedistancebetween2points, you can take this measurement method to measure the distance. Press the key to choose the length measurement method Firstly, as shown in following:

Secondly, press the key to add point, the bottom of screen displays the current distance. Thirdly, press the key to end and display th measure meant result.as shown in following

Records Press the button to enter the history record interface, press the button to move cursor, select area or distance records, and press the key to enter.

Press the key or tomovethecursor, when are cordis selected, press the key or to access selected record “historical records” interface, name are cord time.

Followinginterfaceisfortheareameasurementresult.

Whenpressingthekey .youwillbepromptedtoconfirmclearingthe record, then press the key or to delete the selected record, if press the key or to return the “historical records” interface.

Data output (higher specification model has this feature)

Firstly, connect the measurer to the computer by USB cable. Secondly, press the power button to let device power off
Thirdly, the measurer and computer through the USB cable connection Fourthly, press the power button to let device power on, the measurer will automatically enter the connection mode after detecting the computer. Fifthly, run export software The software needs to be connected to the internet to display online map, please confirm the network normal operation.

Read all records. Click on the upper left corner of the “ready the record”button, start from the measurer reading all records, itwilltakeseveral minutes to export all the records and all the records willbelistintheleftofthelist ofrecords.BEVA-CM84-Handheld-GPS-Glonass-

View on line map to switch “map” “satellite” and “three-dimentional ”three modes. save a single record Click the record which you need, and then click the “save”button, you can record the POI data file and screenshot file saved in the user’s choice of folder. exit Click the exit button to exit the software The measurer will exit and power off after unplugging the USB line.
