Product Usage Instructions
- Read the user manual carefully before proceeding with any connections to ensure optimal use and performance of the VEO-AXS4P HDMI 2.0 audio extractor.
- Ensure that the equipment is not exposed to rain or moisture to prevent fire or shock hazards.
- Connect the audio extractor to a mains socket-outlet with a protective earthing connection for Class I construction.
- Keep the audio extractor away from water and do not block any ventilation openings.
- Avoid installing the audio extractor near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing apparatus.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing may be required when the product is damaged or malfunctions.
- Do not discard the product as unsorted urban waste. Take it to the nearest electrical and electronic waste treatment Centre.

user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

wiring connected to the terminals requires installation by an instructed
person or the use of ready-made leads or cords.

- Disconnecting from mains: Switching off the POWER switch all the functions and light indicators of the amplifier will be stopped, but fully disconnecting the device from mains is done unplugging the power cord from the mains input socket. For this reason, it always shall remain readily operable.
- Equipment is connected to a socket-outlet with earthing connection by means of a power cord.
- The marking information is located at the bottom of apparatus.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on apparatus.

INTRODUCTION
Ecler VEO-AXS4P is a professional HDMI audio extractor that allows to de-embed audio from a HDMI signal, including audio from 4K sources. VEO-AXS4P provides uncompressed LPCM analogue stereo signal through RCA and Phoenix balanced output as well as Dolby Digital and DTS multichannel signals through the coaxial S/PDIF digital output. VEO-AXS4P is HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 compliant, supporting data rates up to 18 Gbps and video resolutions up to 4K/60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sample and HDR contents.

CONNECTION AND INSTALLATION
- Connect a HDMI signal source (such as Blue Ray Player, STB etc) into the HDMI input of VEO-AXS4P.
- Connect a HDMI display device (such as a 4K or Full HD display) to the HDMI output of VEO-AXS4P.
- Connect S/PDIF audio cable or a Balanced/Unbalanced analogue audio cable to an amplifier or other audio devices input.
- Connect the 5VDC power supply to the VEO-AXS4P 4K HDMI Audio Extractor.
