Charge

Only the wireless model (BT/2.4G) BR1 needs to be charged, the wired model BR1 doesn’t needs to be charged.

Wireless Model (BT/2.4G)

Place the wireless model (BT/2.4G) BR1 on the charging base, LED indicator lightens:

  1. Orange light slow flash indicates that the BR1 is charging.
  2. Orange light keeps on indicates charging full.

Wired Model

Connect the wired model BR1 to PC with USB communication cable and then the ‘Status’ light flashes one time and sounds ‘Bi’.

Wired Connection

After connecting the wired model BR1 to PC with USB communication cable, scanning operation can be carried out.

Wireless Pairing

  1. 2.4G Communication Model:
  2. Connect charging base and PC with communication cable.
  3. Scan ‘2.4G/Bluetooth Mode Select’ code underneath the charging base; While the scanner sounds ‘Bi’, it indicates that the scanner is in 2.4G Mode. 2.4G/Bluetooth Mode Select
  4. Unplug the communication cable.
  5. Scanner reads “Pairing code” or “Pairing” code underneath the charging base to pair, and keep the distance between scanner and charging base at most 20cm. Pairing code
  6. Plug the communication cable back to PC
  7. Bluetooth Communication Model:
  8. Connect charging base and PC with communication cable.
  9. Scan ‘2.4G/Bluetooth Mode Select’ code underneath the charging base; While the scanner sounds ‘Bi Bi’, it indicates that the scanner is in Bluetooth Mode. 2.4G/Bluetooth Mode Select
  10. Unplug the communication cable.
  11. Scanner reads “Pairing code” or “Pairing” code underneath the charging base to pair, and keep the distance between scanner and charging base at most 20cm. Pairing code
  12. Plug the communication cable back to PC.
    Note: Step ③and ④ are necessary when the scanner had been paired and user would like to pair the scanner with another bluetooth.

Continuous reading

Scan ‘Continuous reading’ code, and then press the trigger key to read barcode, after that the scanner can continuously read barcode without pressing the trigger key. Continuous reading
