Applicable FCC Rules

The following FCC rules are applicable to the radio module:

  • CFR 47, Part 15.247

The radio module is only tested to the above FCC rules, therefore further testing is required for unintentional emissions to FCC Part 15, Subpart B after the radio module is integrated into the host.

Limited module procedures

This radio module is approved for integration into host model T-FHLSM-Sub Board. Integration into hosts that are different in construction requires a Class II Permissive Change filing on the limited modular certification to allow use in other hosts.

RF exposure considerations

The antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co- located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Antennas

The module must only be used with the antennas provided.

Label and Compliance information

The following information must be provided to the user in the host user manual:
CAUTION — Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

The host which is equipped with FHLSM must be labeled with:
Contains FCC ID: UY6-FHLSM
Contains IC: 6561B-FHLSM
