Introduction
Sengled Smart Plugs enable automation of your non-smart devices and home appliances. You can control devices remotely and set schedules through the Sengled Home app, or use your voice to control your devices through our partner programs like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple HomeKit (Sengled smart hub E39-G8C required). Note : A hub is required to control these Smart Plugs.
Important Safety Information
Before installing the Sengled Smart Plug, please read and follow all precautions, including:
- Risk of electric shock. Do not attempt to disassemble Smart Plug.
- Suitable for use in operating environment between – 4°F and 104°F (-20°C and 40°C).
- Do not use where directly exposed to water.
- Indoor use only.

Installation Instructions
The following instructions are applicable to adding your Smart Plug to a Sengled Smart Hub. If you DO NOT have Sengled Smart Hub and Sengled Home app previously installed, please install your hub according to its user guide in the package before installing bulbs. If you have third-party hubs, such as SmartThings or Amazon Echo Plus, you also can connect Sengled Smart bulbs to these hubs according to their instructions in apps. If you would like to find our latest list of supported third party hubs, please refer to support.sengled.com.
Note:
Please ensure your mobile device is connected to the same wireless router that
your Sengled smart hub is connected with using 2.4G Hz.
- Open the Sengled Home app. Go to Devices, select the + sign, and choose Smart Plugs or Smart LEDs and Accessories (Use with Hub). Follow in-app instructions to finish the installation.
- Ensure your Sengled Home app can discover the plugs. If the app unsuccessfully discovers the plugs, please refer to the next section “Reset Instructions” for how to reset your plug before attempting to add it back in. Congratulations on successfully installing your smart plugs.
Reset Instructions
To reset your Sengled Smart Plug, please make sure it’s plugged into an outlet, then push the power button and hold it for more than five seconds, then release. The purple indicator light will flash five times, then slowly pulse red on and off. If it does not pulse, please try power cycle and reset it again. Once successfully reset, please pair your Smart Plug again in your Sengled Home app.

The following section outlines some of the popular operational modes of the Sengled Smart plugs.

On / Off
Smart Plug can be controlled through a variety of means:- Via the physical power button
- Through the Sengled Home app (including Widget)
- Through partner programs like Alexa, Google Assistant, HomeKit, etc.

Scheduling
Schedules can be created with the Sengled Home app. Check the in-app how-to pages through “Settings” for the following two operations: -
Voice Control
- Set up Amazon Alexa by adding Sengled Home Skill.
- Set up Google Assistant by adding Sengled Home Service.
- Setup Apple HomeKit by “Add Accessory” from the iOS Home app. (Sengled smart hub E39-G8C required)

Select the smart plug from the Devices page and check the average power and cumulative power consumption.

Can I use my Smart Plug simultaneously with other Sengled Smart devices?
Yes, it works with Sengled Smart LED bulbs and devices that use the Sengled Smart Hub. Sengled Smart Plug E1C-NB7 also works as a ZigBee router device and can connect other end devices with Sengled Smart Hub. For the latest Sengled Smart Device selection, please check out sengled.com. -
What should I do if my Sengled Smart Hub can’t be found when I try to add my Smart Plug device?
Please check the Wi-Fi settings of your cell-phone. It has to be on the same Wi-Fi network as your Smart Hub. Also make sure your smart plug is on pairing mode. -
What should I do if my Smart Plug is unresponsive?
Please confirm the following before reattempting to connect: -
The outlet has power.

The Hub has power by checking that the Power “ ” and Internet Connection “ ” indicator lights are on.

The hub is online via the Sengled Home app.

The Plug is within range of the Hub. If not, please move your Plug within 15 feet.
