PLEASE NOTE

  • Electrical equipment should be installed, operated, serviced, and maintained only by qualified personnel.
  • PowerLogic Tag devices must not be repaired.
  • PowerLogic Tag devices should not be installed if, while unpacking, any damage is observed.
  • PowerLogic Tag Display shall be installed so that it is inaccessible to unauthorized persons.
  • HMI module of PowerLogic Tag Display may be touched by humans if panel mounted.
  • The electric panels must meet the requirements of the applicable standards and be installed in compliance with current installation and safety rules.
  • The safety of any system incorporating the equipment is the responsibility of the assembler of the system.
  • All relevant local, regional, and national regulations must be respected while installing and using PowerLogic Tag devices.
  • No responsibility is assumed by Schneider Electric for any consequences arising out of the use of this material.
  • If the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.

  • Apply appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe electrical work practices. See NFPA 70E,
  • This equipment must only be installed and serviced by qualified electrical personnel.
  • Turn off all power supplying this equipment before working on or inside the equipment.
  • Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm power is off.
  • The display and power supply are designed to be used ONLY together.
  • Replace all devices, doors, and covers before turning on power to this equipment.

Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

PowerLogic Tag Display is a wireless device to display the energy information from other PowerLogic Tag sensors.

Wiring

  • According to IEC/UL 61 439, use double-insulated conductors with an enhanced outer sheath rated for use up to 3 kV.
  •  Protect the cable when it crosses the panel.
  • Use copper conductor only, Minimum temperature rating of the cable to be connected to the field wiring terminals is 85°C (185°F).

Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

Commissioning

Before proceeding with pairing, ensure that the PowerTap Link concentrator has the latest available firmware version. Refer to the user manual of the concerned concentrator.

NOTICE

HAZARD OF EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

  • Power off the display before cleaning it.
  • Do not use paint thinner, organic solvents, or a strong acid compound to clean the display.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.

When the surface or the frame of the display gets dirty, soak a soft cloth in water, wring the cloth tightly, and wipe the display
