Instructions to Charge Keyboard
- This product has a built in rechargeable lithium battery.
- When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the keyboard to extend the battery life.
- When low on battery, the power supply indicator light will flash blue.
- To charge, connect the micro-USB end to the charging port of the keyboard and connect the USB end to a USB power source.
- While charging, the charge supply indicator light will be on constantly and the power indicator light will turn off when charging is complete. Unplug when fully charged.
Pairing Keyboard
- Slide the power supply switch to the “on” position.
- Short press the connect button until the wireless connection light flashes blue.
- Turn on the wireless setting on your smart device that you want to connect the keyboard to. Select “TYPOKEYBOARD” on your smart device. The keyboard should now be connected to your device and ready to use.
Tips
- Due to different operating systems, the keyboard may need to be set to your device’s operating system using Fn + the relevant operating system key:
- For Android: press Fn + For Android (Letter “Q” Key)
- For Windows: press Fn + For Win (Letter “W” Key)
- For iOS: press Fn+ For iOS (Letter “E” Key)
- Due to different operating systems and versions, to change the language input setting by the short key, the combination keys may alter it is suggested to try the following
- key combinations:
- For Windows 10: Fn Space bar
- For Windows 7: Control+ Shift
- For iOS Macbook: Control Space bar or Win Space bar
- For iOS iPhone: Fn + Space bar
- If an error occurs during input, uninstall the third-party input method. It is recommended to use the systems own input method.
- To use the blue function icons on the keyboard, press the function assist key button “Fn” down at the same time.
