PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE

1. This product can be used in non-tropic areas below 2,000 meters.
2. Prevent the device from falling to the ground or being strongly impacted.
3. Do not use this product for extended periods of time in environments where it is either too cold, too hot, too humid or with too much dust. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
4. Avoid using this device in the strong magnetic and static environments as much as possible.
5. If the device comes into contact with water or any other liquid, immediately shut down the device and wait for it to dry up completely before turning it on again.
6. Do not clean the device with any detergent containing chemicals or any other liquid to avoid causing damage due to corrosion and dampness. If cleaning is absolutely necessary, use a dry, soft cloth or tissue paper.
7. Our company shall not be held responsible for the loss or deletion of material inside the device caused by abnormal software and hardware operation, maintenance, or any other accidents.
8. Please back up important material regularly to avoid loss.
9. Please do not disassemble the device by yourself; doing so will void the warranty rights.

WINDOWS 10 INS MODE

Microsoft-Verified Security
With Windows 10 in S mode, your favorite applications, such as Office, Evernote and Spotify, are available from the Microsoft Store where they’re Microsoft-verified for security. You can also feel secure when you’re online. Microsoft Edge. your default browser. gives you more protection against phishing and socially-engineered malware than Chrome or Firefox.

Switching out of S Mode
Windows 10 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Microsoft Store. you’ll need to switch out of S mode.

NOTE: Switching out of S mode is one-way. If you make the switch, you won’t be able to go back to Windows 10 in S mode anytime. You can switch back to S Mode only if a software upgrade is made available. It is recommended that you back up all your files into an external harddrive before switching OS. Switching out of S Mode is free of charge

To switch out of S Mode, follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are logged into the Microsoft Store.
2. In the Microsoft Store, search for “Switch out of S Mode”
3. CUck on the “Get” button. Once The software has been downloaded, click on the “Install” button then follow onscreen instructions on how to complete the setup

INTERFACE INTRODUCTION

Windows 10 S Start Menu
You can see many programs fixed on the Start Menu. These applications are displayed in the fonn of magnets. Magnets lets you easily visit programs just by clicking. You need to log on your Microsoft account before the application program completely runs.

APPLICATIONS INTRODUCTION

In addition to the applications already fixed on the start screen, you can open all applications from the homepage. If you want to add multiple applications to the Start screen, refer to the operation shown below:

1. Right-click on the Application icon you wish to pin from the Start Menu
2. Select ·Pin to Start Conversely, if you wish to remove an application from the Start Screen, (1) right-click on the application (2), and then select ·unpin from Start·.

DOWNLOADING APPS

You can download more apps from the Windows 1:.1 Store found on the Windows Start Menu.

Note: You need a Microsoft account to be able to download apps. You can create an account by logging on to https://account.microsoft.com/account
Once you’ve created an account, go to the Windows Store app on your laptop and sign in by clicking on the icon below:

MENU BAR

The Menu bar is located within your Windows Start Menu, found at the bottom of your screen.

• Documents: opens the Documents folder in your PC
• Pictures: Opens the Pictures folder in your PC
• Account: allows you to setup, lock and sign out.
• Settings: setup and customize your device
• Power: sleep, shutdown, or restart your device

SEARCH

The Search Bar can be found in your Start Menu. Use it to find documents or files stored in your device. You can also use the Search Bar to search for anything on the Web when an Internet Connection has been setup. You can see notifications on the Action Centre.

CORTANA

What is Cortana? Cortana is your digital agent.
She’ll help you get things done. The more you use Cortana. the more personalized your experience will be.
To get started, type a question in the search box, or select the microphone and talk to Cortana. (Typing works but you need a mic to talk.)
You can also set Cortana to respond to ·Hey Cortana· from the Settings Menu by clicking on Start> Cortana > Settings > Cortana & Search Settings.

Here are some things Cortana can do for you:

• Give you reminders based on time, places, or people.
• Track packages, teams, interests, and flights.
• Send emails and texts.
• Manage your calendar and keep you up to date.
• Create and manage lists.
• Chit chat and play games.
• Find facts, files, places, and info.
• Open any app on your system.

Note
Cortana is only available in certain countries/regions. and some Cortana features might not be available everywhere.

MULTI-TASKING

Learn three different ways to multitask and use multiple desktops in Windows 10 S.

1. Select the Task View button, or press Alt-Tab on your keyboard to see or switch between apps.
2. To use two or more apps at a time, grab the top of an app window and drag it to the side. Then choose another app and it’ll automatically snap into place.
3. Create different desktops for home and work by selecting Task View > New desktop • and then opening the apps you want to use.
