AMEWI TRADE e.K. is a young, internationally active import and wholesale
company in the field of RC model making and toys, based in Borchen near
Paderborn. Our product range includes over 6,000 items. This includes, above
all, remote-controlled car, helicopter, boat and tank models as well as a wide
range of accessories and all the necessary spare parts. Our sales network
includes over 600 specialist and online retailers across Europe.
The company AMEWI Trade e.K. is a pure wholesale company. We only sell our
products to retailers. When you purchase AMEWI products as an end consumer,
you enter a contract with the retailer. Please always contact your dealer in
warranty cases.

In the event of damage caused by non-observance of these operating
instructions, the right to warranty expires.
For further damages, we do not accept liability! We do not accept any
liability for property damage or personal injury caused by improper handling
or non-compliance with the safety instructions!
For reasons of safety and approval (CE), unauthorized modifications and/or
changes to the device are not permitted. Do not disassemble the model.
Attention small parts. Risk of suffocation or injury from small parts.
The product is not a toy and is not suitable for people under 14 years of age.
The product must not get damp or wet.
INFORMATION ON BATTERIES / INFORMATION ON BATTERY DISPOSAL
Batteries/rechargeable batteries do not belong in the hands of children.
The batteries or rechargeable batteries may only be changed by an adult. Never
mix rechargeable batteries with dry batteries. Never mix full and half-empty
batteries. Never mix batteries of different capacities. Never try to charge
dry cell batteries. Pay attention to the correct polarity. Defective
rechargeable batteries/batteries must be disposed of properly (hazardous
waste). Never carry out the charging process unattended. If you have any
questions about the charging time, read the operating instructions or contact
the manufacturer.
ENTSORGUNGSHINWEISE
Amewi Trade e.K. is registered with the EAR Foundation under WEEE Reg. No.
DE93834722 and properly recycles all used electronic components. Electrical
and electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with the
applicable statutory regulations. As the end-user, you are legally obliged
(Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and accumulators, disposal in
household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with
the symbols shown on the left, which indicate that disposal of household waste
is prohibited. The additional designations for the decisive heavy metal are
Cd = cadmium, HG = mercury, Pb = lead (the designations are on batteries,
e.g., under the garbage can symbol shown on the left).
With the RoHS marking, the manufacturer confirms that all limit values of the production were observed.
Batteries marked with the recycling symbol can be disposed of in any old battery collection container (at most supermarkets at the checkout). They must not be disposed of with the residual or household waste.
Amewi Trade e.K. participates in the dual system for sales packaging through Landbell AG. The packaging used is collected, sorted, and properly recycled by partner companies (disposal companies) from private end consumers (households, yellow sacks, yellow bins). Participation in a dual system helps to save CO2.

Thank you for purchasing the Kabolite 970 all-metal hydraulic excavator.
Please read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for future
reference.
WARNING
- This remote-controlled hydraulic excavator is not a toy. It consists of many small parts, high-quality hydraulic technology, and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
- A 3.7V 4200 lithium battery is used for remote control and an 11.1V 15,000mAh lithium-ion battery is used for the excavator (included).
- Always keep your fingers away from the drive chains, hydraulic cylinders and other moving parts to avoid injury.
- The model’s drive motors get very hot. To avoid burns, let the motors cool down for 10-15 minutes after use before handling them.
- Please only use the charger supplied or special model multifunctional chargers in order not to damage the battery.
- Do not look directly into the LED lights.

Please do not dismantle or change the model in any way.
Please do not use this product improperly or illegally, and do not operate it
in any way that could endanger others or yourself.

PRECAUTIONS
Please read the following safety information before using the model.

Please do not use the model in rain, snow or thunderstorms. If liquid gets into the electronics, it can be irreparably damaged.

Please do not use the model in an environment that you cannot see.

Signal interference can drive the model out of control. Please do not use the model in the following places:

Please do not operate the model if you are tired or feel unwell, have drunk alcohol, or have used drugs – this can cause injuries to you or others.

To avoid burns, never touch drive parts and motors during or immediately after use, as they can be very hot.

Incorrect operation of the transmitter can cause injury to you or others. Make sure you are familiar with the operation before using the model.

Check the model and remote control before use. Check that the screws are tight.

When you have finished using it, be sure to turn off the model first and then the remote control. Otherwise, the model may get out of control.

If the model gets out of range, it can get out of control. Please always keep the transmitter close to the model.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
3S 11,1V 15000mAh Lithium-Ion-Battery (Included)
- Open the battery compartment.
- Push the battery into the compartment. Watch out make sure the cables are on the right side (s. arrow).
- Switch on the excavator using the power switch.
- Place all cables neatly in the compartment and close the door.
The battery level indicator shows how full the battery is. Start the display
using the display switch.
ATTENTION: If the battery capacity is below 25%, the battery must be
charged. (see charging battery)
CHARGE THE REMOTE-CONTROL BATTERY
The remote control is equipped with a built-in lithium battery of 3.7V
4300mAh.
To charge the battery, pull off the dust cover on the charging socket and
connect the USB charging cable. Use to load one
Smartphone power adapter or a free USB socket on your PC or laptop.
CHARGE THE BATTERY
- Connect the DC 5.5-2.5 charging socket of the battery to the plug ofthe charger.
- Connect the power supply, then charge.

CHARGE INDICATOR STATUS
The charging time is approx. 5 hours. Please disconnect the battery from the charger as soon as the charging process is complete.
NOTE
Check the charger for damage to the housing, cable and plug. Repair defective
areas before using the charger.
PRECAUTIONS FOR LITHIUM BATTERIES
- The battery may only be charged with the charger supplied.
- If the battery is damaged, it must no longer be charged. An explosion or fire could result.
- Make sure that you only use the original battery for this model.
SAFE USE OF THE LITHIUM BATTERY
-
If lithium batteries are used incorrectly, there is a high risk that they will explode.
-
We assume no liability for damage caused by incorrect use of the lithium battery.

The use of any other charger is prohibited. Do not disassemble the battery. Hold that Battery away from metal parts.
Make sure you never short-circuit the battery. -
Never leave the battery unattended while charging.

Never charge or store the battery within the reach of children.
SWITCH ON TRANSMITTER
- Make sure the battery is charged and the excavator is turned off.
- Make sure that all toggle switches are in the neutral position
Press both power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
Wait until the display is on. Then you can let go of the power buttons.
SWITCH ON EXCAVATOR
- Open the battery compartment.
- Make sure the power switch is off.
- Place the battery in the battery compartment according to the instructions (page 9) and connect the XT60 connector.
- Turn on the model. The LEDs come on automatically and a beep will sound. You can now close the door of the battery compartment.
SWITCH OFF EXCAVATOR
- Press the on/off button to turn off the model.
- Press both power buttons on the transmitter to switch it off.
Before closing the battery compartment, make sure that the battery connector
is disconnected from the socket. Even when the excavator is switched off,
minimal currents flow. If the battery is left idle for a longer period of
time, this can deeply discharge it and damage it beyond repair.
The receiver of the excavator and the transmitter are already connected to
each other in the delivery state. It is therefore not necessary to train the
receiver on the transmitter. If the model does not react to the transmitter,
switch both off and on again.
QUICK COUPLER
- Move the switch down to retract the pin of the quick coupler. Align the arm of the bucket with the bucket.
- Insert the quick coupler into the holder of the bucket.
- When the correct position is reached, move the switch up, the changer extends the pin, and the bucket is secured and ready for use.
HYDRAULIC OIL FILLING
1. Unscrew the tank cap and pull out the air breather plug.| 2. Fill the hydraulic oil into the tank. Then screw the tank cap back in and push the air breather cap back into place.
PLEASE NOTE THE OIL LEVEL!
Check on the tank window and make sure the hydraulic oil fills the eye up to
halfway.
WARNING
If hydraulic oil gets into your eye, immediately rinse them immediately with
clean water and consult a doctor.
