Warning
- This product is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. Please keep this product out of the reach of children.
- CAUTION! Possible dangerous radiation! DO NOT stare directly into the light beam or shine the light directly into the eyes of anyone!
- The product will generate massive heat during prolonged operation. Please exercise caution during use. It is recommended not to use high brightness levels for extended periods to prevent burns and product damage.
- DO NOT cover or place objects near the head of the product, as this may cause damage to the product or accidents due to high temperatures.
- DO NOT use the product to illuminate flammable or explosive materials, as the high heat may lead to combustion or explosion.
- Please use the product in a standard handheld manner to avoid accidents in the event of product failure.
- When the product is placed in an enclosed or flammable environment such as a pocket or backpack, or when it is left unused for an extended period, please activate Full Lockout Mode to avoid accidental activation and dangers caused by excessive heat.
- DO NOT expose the product to temperatures above 60°C (140°F) for prolonged time, as this poses a risk of battery explosion or combustion.
- Please recharge the product every 6 months when left unused for a prolonged time.
- DO NOT disassemble or modify this product as doing so will cause damage to it and render the product warranty invalid. Please refer to the warranty section in the manual for complete warranty information.
Battery Safety
Improper use of devices with built-in Li-ion batteries may result in severe battery damage or safety hazards such as combustion or explosion. DO NOT use the device if it is damaged. DO NOT disassemble, puncture, cut, crush, or incinerate the device. If any leakage or abnormal odor is noticed, stop using the device immediately. Dispose of the device/batteries in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.

Product Overview
Sensor Protection Function
Charging Function
The EDC25 is equipped with an intelligent charging system. Please charge the battery before the first use. Use the USB cable to connect an external power supply (e.g. a USB adapter, a power bank or other USB charging devices) to the charging port to begin the charging process.
- During the charging process, the green power indicators will gradually transition from flashing to a steady light to display the battery level.
- When the battery is fully charged, the EDC25 will cease the charging process and the power indicators will become steadily turned on to inform the user.
- The lighting function is available during the charging process (TURBO and STROBE excluded).
- The charging time is approx. 1 hour 15 minutes. (Charged via the 5V/2A adapter)
Note: The product will be automatically unlocked when charging in the Lockout Mode.
Power And Brightness Levels
On / Off
- On: When the light is off, full press the Power Button until a click sound is heard to turn it on.
- Off: When the light is on, full press the Power Button until a click sound is heard to turn it off.
Note
- Each time the light is turned on, the Level Indicators and the Power indicators will illuminate to indicate the current brightness level and the remaining battery power.
- They will automatically turn off after 5 seconds. Half press the Power Button once to reactivate them.
Brightness Levels
When the light is on, half press the Power Button to cycle through the following brightness levels: ULTRALOW – LOW – MID – HIGH. The flashlight will directly access the previously memorized brightness level when reactivated.
Note: When the indicators turn off, half press the Power Button once to turn on the indicators.
Half press the Power Button again to adjust the brightness level.
ULTRALOW Activation
- When the light is off, half press and hold the Power Button to access ULTRALOW. Release to turn it off.
Customizable Function And Lock/Unlock
Customizable Function
- When the light is on/off, press and hold the Customizable Button to access TURBO / STROBE. The Level Indicators will turn off one by one, indicating the remaining time for TURBO / STROBE. Release to return to the previous status.
- Press and hold the Customizable Button without releasing it, full press the Power Button each time to alternate and select between TURBO and STROBE. After selecting your preference, the flashlight will enable a quick access to TURBO / STROBE.
Note
- When TURBO / STROBE is activated, the flashlight will automatically adjust the brightness to prevent overheating and prolong the lifespan of the flashlight.
- To restore the previous brightness, simply reactivate TURBO / STROBE.
Lockout / Unlock
The EDC25 has two lockout modes (Half Lockout Mode and Full Lockout Mode).
Half Lockout Mode:
- When the light is on, half / full press and hold the Power Button until the red Lockout Indicator flashes once to access Half Lockout Mode.
- When in Half Lockout Mode, the Power Button is unavailable to activate the flashlight, and the red Lockout Indicator will flash once to indicate this status when pressing the Power Button. Pressing and holding the Customizable Button will access TURBO / STROBE; release to turn it off.
Full Lockout Mode (Default Setting):
- When the light is on, half / full press and hold the Power Button until the red Lockout Indicator flash once followed by 2 flashes to access Full Lockout Mode.
- When in Full Lockout Mode, both buttons are unavailable to activate the flashlight, and the red Lockout Indicator will flash twice to indicate this status when pressing either button.
Unlock:
- In any lockout mode, short press and then long press the Power Button until all level indicators light up one by one to exit Lockout Mode.
- The flashlight will access ULTRALOW to indicate this status.
ATR And Power Indication
ATR (Advanced Temperature Regulation)
- The integrated ATR technology regulates the output of the EDC25 according to the working condition and ambient environment to maintain the optimal performance.
Power Indication
- When the light is on/off, half press the Power Button and the Power Indicators will be on to indicate the remaining battery power (lockout modes excluded).
Note: The battery should be recharged when the output appears to be dim or the flashlight becomes unresponsive due to low power

Sensor Protection Function
When there is an obstruction near the light outlet, and the flashlight accidentally access HIGH, TURBO, or STROBE, the flashlight brightness will automatically decrease to 500 lumens to prevent overheating and prolong the lifespan ofthe flashlight. The sensitivity of the sensor may differ due to variations in the color and material of obstructions. Once the obstruction is removed, the flashlight will return to its previous brightness level and turn off the sensor protection function.
Note:
- When HIGH, TURBO, or STROBE is on, covering the light outlet will not activate the sensor protection function, and the brightness remains unchanged.
- It is important to keep the front lens clean to ensure that the built-in sensor functions properly to achieve its optimal performance.
Warranty Details
All NITECORE® products are warranted for quality.
Any DOA / defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local
distributor/dealer within 15 days of purchase. After that, all defective /
malfunctioning NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge within 24
months from the date of purchase. Beyond 24 months, a limited warranty
applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of
accessories or replacement parts.
The warranty will be nullified if
- the product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed and/or modified by unauthorized parties;
