Laser beams emit from all three Laser Apertures.

Power this Laser Level using only the batteries referenced in the Specifications Chart.

Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not operate any Laser Level when you are tired.

Do not operate Laser Level if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgment or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not operate the Laser Level.

Performance of this Laser Level may vary depending on battery condition.

Turn Laser Level’s Self-Leveling Switch to the “OFF” position before making any adjustments or changing the batteries.

The Laser Level is a delicate instrument; do not drop or jar the Laser Level.

Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.

Do not attempt to charge batteries.

Do not install old and new batteries together. Do not install alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries together. Position batteries in proper polarity. Do not use swollen or leaking batteries.

Have the Laser Level calibrated by a qualified technician every year to maintain accurate results.

People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker interference or pacemaker failure.

The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. Setup – Before Use

Mounting (Optional)
The Level can be mounted onto a Tripod (sold separately) or attached to a Mounting Bracket (included).
- Attach to Tripod’s connecting screw.
- To attach the Mounting Bracket, insert the Bracket’s Screw into the Laser Level’s Tripod Connector. Turn Knob to tighten until secure.
a. Attach the Mounting Bracket to a magnetic surface, or
b. The Bracket may be attached to a wall using appropriate hardware (sold separately) through its two holes.
General Operation
NOTICE: Turn Self-Leveling Switch OFF when moving Level to a different location.
- Install batteries as described in “Battery Replacement” on page 7.
- Set the Level on a flat, level surface, mount to Tripod or Mounting Bracket.
Self Leveling

Turn the Self-Leveling Switch ON.
a. The Level will self-level within 5 seconds and the Leveling Indicator will illuminate green.
b. Three laser lines (front, up, down) will emit from the Level to check plumb and level.
Note: If the Level is out of alignment, the Leveling Indicator will illuminate red and the laser lines will blink. Move the Level horizontally until Leveling Indicator illuminates green. -
Aim and tilt the Level as needed.
Note: Tilting Level up and down may cause it to become out of alignment. Move the Level horizontally until Leveling Indicator illuminates green. -
When finished, turn the Laser Button and Self-Leveling Switch OFF. Store the Level in a dry indoor area away from children. If storing the Level for a long period, remove the batteries.
Maintenance and Servicing
Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician.
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Lubrication
- Wipe unit with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
- Remove batteries if not in use for long periods.
- Store unit in a dry location.
- Other than the batteries, there are no replaceable parts on this unit. Repairs should be done by a qualified technician.
Battery Replacement

Turn the Self-Leveling Switch and Laser Button Off.
-
Remove battery cover by pressing the Latch and removing the cover.

Remove batteries. Replace with two new AA batteries and follow polarity.
Note: Do not install old and new batteries together. Do not install alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries together. Position batteries in proper polarity. Do not use swollen or leaking batteries. -
Replace battery cover and be sure the Latch connects securely.
Calibration
Have the Laser Level calibrated by a qualified technician every year.

We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
