OPERATION MANUAL
Please do not keep emergency keys in your safe
Important Notes
- Open the packing, you will find a user manual plastic bag included 2 emergency keys. Do not store emergency keys in the safe.
- Read the manual carefully before you install the safe.
- Make sure the safe location is selected carefully. lt must be away from electrical, plumbing. duct work, etc.
- If an incorrect code is entered 3 times, the system will “freeze” for 20 seconds.
- Designed for moderate security. This safe is not fire rated.
Installation
- Choose a location where the safe will be convenient to use, but not easily visible to intruders.
- Measure the back of the safe for exact fit. Cut the hole in drywall based on your measurement.
- Install your wall safe through the cutout in wall so that the hinge side of the safe is flush against the right hand stud and the front flange is flat against the wall.
- With the safe open, install the three screws(included in the package)through the holes in the right hand side of the safe first. Tighten the screws so the safe is flush to the right stud.
- Install the three screws on left side of safe and tighten.
Preparation for use: This product is battery operated. Only use 1.5V AA batteries. To install the batteries, just remove the battery cover plate at the back of the door and install the four batteries. Ensure the + and – positions are correct.
Open the safe after installing the batteries:
Change the code
- With door open, locate the red button on the back of door near the hinge. Press it, you will hear 2 beeps and see a yellow light on for seconds.
- Input a new code of 3 to 8 digits, then press button “B”. The storage of the new code will be confirmed by two beeps.
Close the safe
Turn the knob counter-clockwise, the mechanism will automatically lock the
safe.
Open the safe
- Input your code(factory default code:159), then press the “B”button, the green light will turn on.
- Turn the knob clockwise within 5 seconds, the door is opened.
- Each key being pressed is indicated with a buzzer and a yellow flashing light. If the entered code is invalid, then the yellow light will flash and the buzzer will quickly beep and the user should enter the correct once again.
CAUTION: Entering an incorrect code 3 times will freeze the system for 20 seconds.
Battery Replacement
A red light on the control panel indicates low batteries. At this point, there is still enough power to open the safe a few more times. Once you see the red light, the batteries should be changed immediately! To replace the batteries, open the sliding cover on the back of the door and replace the battery. Use AA battery only.
Override Key & first time to open the safe with override key:
For your convenience, this wall safe is engineered a manual override system in
this product. lf you forget or misplace your code or the batteries die, you
can still access your valuables. The safe serial number is near the override
lock factory can make a copy of your key by this number. If you lose your key,
please contact us. You will need to do the following to find a lock and use
the override key to open the safe: Remove small screw by counter-clockwise on
the electronic lock. Remove small cover that holds the keypad . Insert your
key and turn it counter clockwise. Turn the knob clockwise, the door will
open. After opening the safe, please set up the keypad and screw.
Do not keep the key in your safe. In the event of battery failure, you will not be able to open the safe.
