TYREDOG TD-AC80 12V/80 PSI Mini Air Compressor
Thanks for purchasing the TYREDOG TD-AC80 mini air compressor. Please carefully read these instructions and warnings to ensure you familiarise yourself with the unit operation prior to use.

- Note: This device contains a pressure safety valve which limits the device to 80PSI.

WARNING:
- The Device should only be used for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time before allowing it to cool down before next use.
- For Example: 20 Minutes ON, 20 Minutes OFF, 20 Minutes ON …
- If the device becomes sluggish and gets to warm, please switch off the device and let it cool down for around 30 minutes.
- Never leave the device unattended while the compressor is running.
- Always refer to your manufacturers specifications for maximum pressure to ensure you never over inflate your tyre/ sporting equipment.
- After using the device, the connections on the Air Hose may get very hot. Please take precaution and if necessary allow it to cool down before you disconnect or touch the Air Hose.
OPERATION
- Remove the cap (if fitted) from the valve stem and attach the air hose. Check the Pressure Gauge on the device to see the current Pressure (PSI/Bar)
- Make sure the device is switched OFF ‘O’ and connect the cigarette lighter adaptor to the vehicles 12V DC Outlet socket.
- Before switching the device ON, we recommend that you start the vehicle as this will ensure you don’t get a flat battery.
- Once the vehicle has started, switch the device ON ‘I’ and the compressor will start running. (Never leave the unit running for more than 15 minutes at a time) Please ensure you watch the Pressure Gauge at all times to ensure you don’t over inflate your tyres.
- Once the pressure has reached the desired level, switch the device OFF ‘O’ and allow the air hose connections to cool down before removing.
If you need to inflate more than 1 tyre, please remember to let the device cool down after each use as this will prevent the compressor from overheating.
To Inflate sports equipment such as footballs, basketballs etc., please use the supplied nozzle/ sports needle required and follow the steps listed above while ignoring the valve stem and tyre references. Pressure Release (Yellow Button) – If you need to release some pressure, simply press the Yellow Pressure Release button until you reach the desired pressure.
CAR TYRE INFLATION TIMES
- Inflate your car tyre from 15 to 35 PSI in approximately:
- Small Car Tyre – 4 Minutes
- Medium Car Tyre – 5 Minutes
- Large Car Tyre – 6 Minutes
1 YEAR PRODUCT WARRANTY
Zylux Distribution Pty. Ltd. (ABN 66 101 378 009) of 166 Christmas Street, Fairfield, Victoria, 3078, Australia warrants to the Customer that this product is substantially free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of One (1) Year from the Date of Purchase. Please ensure you keep a copy of your purchase receipt on file as this will be required to validate your warranty.
Obtaining Warranty Service:
Within the warranty period, the Customer must contact the authorised supplier/
retailer where the product was purchased or alternatively you can contact the
Tyredog service centre through one of the following methods:

If the Authorised Supplier and/ or Tyredog service centre concludes that while under normal use, a product failure or malfunction occurred during the warranty period and was caused by a defect in material or workmanship (see Exclusions), the Customer will be asked to ship to the nearest service point for repair or replacement, at our discretion. The product must be packaged appropriately for safe shipment. To prove that the product is under warranty, the customer should enclose a copy of their receipt for proof of purchase. It is recommended that returned products be sent by registered mail as Zylux Distribution Pty. Ltd. (Tyredog) accepts no responsibility/ liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.
Exclusions:
If upon receiving a product for repair and if testing and examining the
product has disclosed that the alleged defect or malfunction in the product
does not exist or was caused by the Customer or any third persons misuse,
neglect, physical abuse, water damage, unauthorised attempts to open, exposure
to extremely high temperatures, tampered with or repaired by unauthorised
persons, this will not be covered under this warranty. Also charges may apply
to any product returned which has no fault found or if the warranty has
expired or been void.
This Warranty is also void if:
- The warranty seal is broken or altered.
- The warranty period has expired.
- The product has been tampered with or repaired by an unauthorised person.
- If the product has been dropped or damaged due to impact.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed under New Zealand legislation.
