TOOLS FOR EASY INSTALLATION (NOT INCLUDED):

  1. 1/2″ Wrench 7mm Socket
  2. 3/8″ Ratchet
  3. 2 Phillips Driver
  4. Grease Pencil
  5. Awl ( optional)

EDGE TRIM INSTALLATION:

Peel two to three inches of red vinyl backing away from Edge Trim. tape. Applying the adhesive side of the edge trim to the inner side of the flare, affix the edge trim to the top edge of the flare (the portion that comes in contact with the vehicle).
Press edge trim into place along the top edge of the flare in one-foot increments, pulling red vinyl backing free as you continue to work your way around the top edge of the flare

Pocket Hardware Installation

  1. Put a Washer on each Bolt. Put each Bolt/Washer combination through a pocket hole in the flare, Bolt head and Washer on the outside

  2. Place a Nut over the end of each Bolt and tighten, using a 1/2″ wrench for the Nut and the supplied Screw Wrench for the Bolt. Repeat for remaining pockets.

  3. Using a 7mm socket, remove four factory screws from wheel well and save for reinstallation.

  4. Position flare on fender and reinstall the four factory screws removed in Step 3.

  6. Holding flare in position on fender, use a grease pencil to mark the five clip locations.

  7. Center a supplied Tap over top two factory holes.

  8. Slide a supplied Clip over lower five tabs. Clips may need to be adjusted to align with holes in flare.YITAMOTOR CEETFF-0004 Fender Flares FIG \(9\)

  9. Reposition flare on fender. Start a supplied Screw through upper two hole locations and through each Clip installed  in step 8. If needed, use awl to locate holes.

  10. Start a supplied Screw through each of the remaining holes and into each Clip installed in step 12. If needed, use awl to locate holes.

  11. Fully tighten all screws starting with the newly installed Screws in upper two hole locations while pressing in on flare to ensure it is snug against sheet metal.YITAMOTOR CEETFF-0004 Fender Flares FIG \(10\)

  12. Holding flare in position on fender, use a grease pencil to mark the four clip locations.

  13. Center a supplied Tap over top two factory holes.

  15. Reposition flare on fender. Start a supplied Screw through upper two hole locations and through each Clip installed in step 14. If needed, use awl to locate holes.

  16. Start a supplied Screw through each of the remaining holes and into each Clip installed in step 14. If needed, use awl to locate holes.

    Edge Trim Tool Procedures

  18. Using supplied Edge Trim Tool, seat edge trim against vehicle by hooking curved end under edge trim at one end of flare. Next, slide around outer edge of flare to the other end.

  19. Using flat end of supplied Edge Trim Tool, seat edge trim against flare by inserting straight end between edge trim and flare at one end. Next, slide around entire edge to the other end.

CARE & MAINTANCE

To protect the fenders, it is recommended to clean them regularly. Please do not use cleaners that contain abrasives that may damage the finish of the parts
