Safety Instructions
- Do not install the FRITZ! Box during an electrical storm.
- During a storm, disconnect the FRITZ! Box from the power supply and from the internet.
- The ventilation slits of the FRITZ! Box must never be obstructed.
- Do not place the FRITZ! Box on overly heat-sensitive surfaces.
- Connect the FRITZ! Box to an easily accessible outlet.
- The FRITZ! Box is intended only for indoor operation.
Connect with the Cable Junction
- Connect the FRITZ! Box to your multimedia socket using a coaxial cable.
- Options A and C show how to connect the FRITZ! Box to various multimedia sockets. Option B shows how to connect a multimedia socket adapter to a radio/TV socket. The coaxial cable and the adapter are not included in the FRITZ! Box package.
Connect to Electrical Power
Establish Wi-Fi Connection (Smartphone)
- Scan the QR code and establish the Wi-Fi connection directly. or
- Open the Wi-Fi settings of your smartphone, select the Wi-Fi network of your FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable, and establish the connection with the Wi-Fi password.
Establish a Wi-Fi Connection (Windows Computer)
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the notification area of the Windows task bar.
- Select the Wi-Fi network of your FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable from the list of Wi-Fi networks and click on “Connect”.
- Push the “Connect/WPS” button briefly. The Wi-Fi connection will be established.
Connect a Computer Using a Network Cable
Configure Internet Access

Enter http://fritz.box in a web browser.
The user interface of the FRITZ! Box appears. -
Enter the FRITZ! Box password when prompted to do so, and then follow the instructions until configuration has been completed.
The internet connection is configured and you can surf the web with the connected devices.
Register a Cordless Telephone
- If you have a FRITZ!Fon, start your telephone and press the “Connect/WPS” button on the FRITZ!Box. Three LEDs flash and the FRITZ!Box is registered.
- Telephones from other manufacturers must first be made ready for registration; then enter the PIN of the FRITZ!Box on the telephone (a value of „0000“ is preconfigured) before completing registration with the “Connect/WPS” button..

LV, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SE, SI, SK, UK.
