Safety instructions
Dear Customer, if you follow the recommendations contained in this Instruction Manual, our appliance will give you constant high performance and will remain efficient for many years to come. Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance must never been carried out by children, unless they are over 8 years and under supervision.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- ARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
- If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent to avoid a hazard.
- Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
- Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
- Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.

specific safeguards

1. To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug. But never pull the cord. - Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
- Do not touch hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.
- Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks. Only use the carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as the carafe is very fragile.
- Never use your coffee maker without water in it.
- Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.

Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Add water
into water tank to the MAX level and brew water for several times without
coffee powder, then discard the water. Clean all detachable parts thoroughly
with warm water.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
- Open the tank cover and fill fresh water. The water level should not exceed the max level as indicated on the water tank. Replace the tank cover.
- Swing the funnel support out and place the filter in the funnel, and make sure it is assembled correctly.
- Add coffee into filter. Usually a cup of coffee needs a level spoon of coffee, but you may adjust it according to personal taste.
- Turn the water dispenser and place it on the coffee filter.
- Insert the jug on the keeping warm plate horizontally.
- Plug the power cord into the outlet.
- Pulse the switch, the indicator will be illuminated. The appliance will begin working. The brewing process can be interrupted pressing the switch at any time. The appliance will continue brewing once the switch is turned on again.
- Note: you can take out the jug, pour and serve at any time. The appliance will stop dripping automatically. But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After each use, always make sure plug is first removed from wall outlet.

Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot and sudsy water. Note: the funnel can be removed from the column to cleaning. When assembling, only insert the column of funnel into the groove of the appliance.

Wipe the product’s exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.

Water droplets may buildup in the area above the funnel and drip onto the product base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with a clean, dry cloth after each use of the product.

Replace all parts and keep it for next use.
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should clean away the mineral deposits left by the water regularly according to the water quality in your area and the frequency use the appliance.
Follow the next instructions:- Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level in the gauge of coffee maker (the scale of water and descaler is 4:1). Please take into consideration the descaler’s instructions. Please use “household descaler”. You can also use citric acid instead of the descaler (the one hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
- Push the jug on the base. Pay attention to let center line of jug aligns with that of brew basket.
- Pulse the switch and the indicator of it will be illuminated. After a while, water will drop out automatically.
- After percolate the equivalent of one cup and pulse the switch to turn off the appliance.
- Leave the solution work for 15 minutes, and then repeat the steps of 3-5 again.
- Turn the appliance on and run off the water until the water tank is completely empty.
- Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.
