Remove all packaging materials before first use.

DO NOT drape the cord over a counter or tabletop where it can be pulled on or tripped over. DO NOT wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could cause the cord to fray or break.

We DO NOT recommend using an extension cord with this appliance. However, if an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating should be at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance.

CLOSE SUPERVISION IS NECESSARY WHEN USING THIS APPLIANCE NEAR CHILDREN OR PETS.
DO NOT leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on or plugged in. -

Electrical Safety
This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug in which 1 prong is wider
than the other. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical
shock. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only 1 way. If you are unable
to insert the plug into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug in
any way. Montgomery Ward cannot
accept any liability for damage or injury resulting from failure to observe
these safety procedures.

How to Use
ASSEMBLING THE WHEELS
- Assemble each wheel to a wheel mount by pushing the wheel post up into the large hole at the bottom of each wheel mount.
- Attach each wheel mount and wheel to the vacuum by sliding the wheel mounts into the slots at the bottom of the vacuum base.
USING THE DRY VACUUM
- Place the fabric barrel filter into the base. The ring of the filter should rest on the top rim of the base.
- Set the motor housing on top of the base, aligning the locks, and push down until locks click into place.
- Attach the hose to the suction port on the front of the base. Turn the hose counterclockwise to lock it in place.
- Attach a tool and/or extension rod(s) to the free end of the hose, if desired.
- Make sure the vacuum switch on the motor housing is OFF.
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Press the switch to the ON position and vacuum as needed.
- When finished, press the switch to OFF and unplug the cord from the outlet.
- Pinch the side locks and remove the motor housing. Empty debris into a trash receptacle after every use.
USING THE WET VACUUM
- DO NOT use the barrel filter in the base.
- Slide the sponge filter over the buoy cage on the center underside of the motor housing.
- Set the motor housing on top of the base, aligning the locks, and push down until locks click into place.
- Attach the hose to the suction port on the front of the base. Turn the hose counterclockwise to lock it in place.
- Attach a tool and/or extension rod(s) to the free end of the hose, if desired.
- Make sure the vacuum switch on the motor housing is OFF.
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Press the switch to the ON position and vacuum as needed.
- When the base is full of liquid, the buoy (in the cage on the underside of the motor housing) will rise and discontinue suction of the vacuum (see diagram on page 7).This will result in a noticeable change of sound of the motor and the vacuum may shake to let you know the base is full. Press the switch to OFF and unplug the cord from the outlet.
- Pinch the side locks and remove the motor housing. Empty liquid from the base.
- When finished vacuuming, press the switch to OFF and unplug the cord from the outlet. Remove the motor housing and empty liquid after every use.
USING THE VACUUM AS A BLOWER
- DO NOT use the barrel filter in the base.
- Set the motor housing on top of the base, aligning the locks, and push down until locks click into place.
- Attach the hose to the exhaust/blower port on the back of the motor housing. Turn the hose counterclockwise to lock it in place.
- Attach a tool and/or extension rod(s) to the free end of the hose, if desired
- Make sure the vacuum switch on the motor housing is OFF.
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Press the switch to the ON position and use as a blower.
- When finished, press the switch to OFF and unplug the cord from the outlet.
WARNING: To avoid overheating, DO NOT use this vacuum continuously for
longer than 30-minute increments.
WARNING: ALWAYS move the vacuum using the handle. DO NOT pull it by the
cord or hose.
Cleaning & Care
WARNING: ALWAYS turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning! Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean the filters, as needed, by hand washing in warm water. Allow to air dry completely before reinstalling and using vacuum.
- Wipe the interior and exterior of the vacuum with a damp cloth.
- DO NOT immerse any electrical appliance, cord or plug into water.

Returns
If any item, for any reason, does not meet your expectations, just return it to us. We’ll gladly either:

- Credit your account
- Send a replacement
You can return any unused item in its original packaging within 60 days of its receipt for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping and handling charges).
When returning an item:
- Use the original packaging and pack it securely.
- Please adequately insure your item in case you need to make a claim with the carrier you choose for returning your item.
- Include your order number and reason for return.
- We recommend keeping the receipt for 4 weeks.
1 Year Limited Warranty
Montgomery Ward, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the provable date of purchase. Within this warranty period, Montgomery Ward will repair or replace, at its option, defective parts of this product at no charge provided the product is returned freight prepaid with proof of purchase to Montgomery Ward. Allow 2–4 weeks for return shipping. This warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse, abuse or neglect on part of the owner. Warranty is also invalid in any case that the product is taken apart or serviced by an unauthorized service station. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and they may vary from state to state. THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
