Safety cautions

WARNING: before using electrical appliances, you must be familiar with and understand the following safety precautions for machine use.

  1. Please read this manual carefully before use.

  2. To check whether the voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the product.

  3. To avoid electric shock and fire accident, please do not immerse the power cord and plug into water or other liquid.

  4. Supervision is necessary while the coffee machine is working, do not let children or persons without a self-care ability close to the coffee machine.

  5. Please unplug the plug when finished brewing or cleaning the coffee machine. And cool the coffee machine before installing and taking off interior parts or cleaning it.

  6. Please do not use and please return to the manufacturer or its service agent for repairing, if the power cord or plug was damaged, or if there were other faults which cause the machine work abnormally.

  7. Please do not use the components that is not designated by manufacturer, which will cause harm to the user and cause potential danger.

  8. Do not immerse it in water, use indoors only.

  9. Do not let the power cord hang over the table edge or close to anything with high temperature.

  10. Do not put the coffee machine on or near the gas or oven.

  11. Do not use the coffee machine for other purpose. Use it in a dry place or environment.

  12. Use clean cold water to fill the water tank, it’s prohibited to fill with mineral water, milk or other liquid.

  13. When pulled the plug off, please grasp the plug to unplug the power cord, do not pull the electric wire.

  14. While brewing the coffee, the temperature of some parts is very high, do not touch directly. Except the handle.

  15. The operation or storage temperature should be higher than zero degree centigrade.

  16. Do not use the coffee machine in a place of high temperature, strong magnetic field or humid environment.

  17. This appliance is suitable for children of more than 8 years and above age to use. If persons who with weak body inconvenience, sensory and mental retardation, or lack of experience want to use the coffee machine, there must be a person who know the safety operation for guidance supervision nearby. Children under 8 years old are prohibited to operate this appliance. And It’s not allowed to do some maintenance, unless they are over 8 years old and together with a guardian.

  18. Do not let the children under 8 years old be able to touch the appliances as well as the power cord.

  19. This machine is with grounding plug. Please make sure the family socket is grounded properly.

  20. It’s not allowed to use the coffee machine if the water tank is empty.

  21. A capsule can only be used one time, can not be reused!

  22. Warning: to avoid injury, don’t put fingers into the brewing chamber.

  23. Warning: the brewing chamber is with hot water, do not open the handle in the process of operation to avoid injury.

  24. This appliance is suitable for household and similar use such as:

    • Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
    • Farm
    • Hotels, motels and other residential environments.
    • Accommodation with breakfast environments.
  25. An appliance with an attached cord or detachable power-supply cord less than 4-1/2 ft (1.4 m) in length shall be provided with instructions, which are not part of Important Safeguards, that include the following information:
    A. A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
    B. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
    C. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:

  26. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;

Coffee machine and function description

Plug in and standby:

  1. Fill the water tank with water (Min.100-Max.700ml), When the machine power is connected, the two key lights will flash twice (0.5s on, 0.5s off, cycle flashing; hereinafter referred to as slow flashing) and enter the self-test mode.,enter self-test mode.
  2. After about 2 seconds, the self-test is completed. If the self-test is OK, the LED1 and LED2 lights are always off, then enter the power saving mode; If there is a failure, the LED1 and LED2 lights will turn on for 0.20s and turn off for 0.20s cycling flash(Note: hereinafter referred to as flash quickly).
  3. If there is no operation upto 5 minutes during standby, the LED1 and LED2 lights will go out, and the machine will automatically enter the power saving mode.
  4. The Pre-heat mode

Operation method

In the power saving mode Push S1 or S2, enter the Pre-heat mode; the key indicator LED1 / LED2 will flash slowly at the same time, and the heater will confirm whether heating is required according to the current temperature. The boiler preheating temperature is set to 80 . When the preheating temperature reaches the set temperature, the indicator LED 1 / LED2 will change from flashing to always on, and the machine will be in standby mode after preheating. In the process of preheating, the water pump and solenoid valve do not act. Long press the key S1 or S2 for more than 4 seconds to stop preheating.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Brewing coffee:

After preheating, it will enter into standby mode, and the indicator light LED1 / LED2 will be always on; Put the coffee capsule into the coffee machine press the function buttons (S1 or S2) of the corresponding coffee capacity, and the indicator light of the corresponding coffee function key will flash slowly. When the boiler is heated to the preset temperature, Start to pump water and open the solenoid valve. The corresponding LED light will be always on. The water pump will start to pump water and start the pump timing: the small cup time is 18 seconds, and the large cup time is 36 seconds (corresponding to the original Nestle coffee capsule: small cup about 40ml, large cup about 80ml), When the time reaches the set value, the water pump stops working,and the indicator light goes out after 6 seconds delay, and then the machine enters the standby mode (the two lights are always on, Water pump off, heater not working (except during constant temperature).
In the brewing process, press any key S1 / S2, no matter whether the coffee brewing is completed or not, the coffee brewing process will be passively terminated, the water pump and heating pipe will stop working immediately, and the solenoid valve will be powered off and reset.
Return to standby mode, two LED lights are always on;
When the preheating is finished or coffee brewing is finished and there is no operation for 5 minutes (without pressing the keys S1 and S2), the machine will be shut down without any action, including LED no display,enter the power saving mode.

NOTE 1: if there is no water in the coffee brewing process, please open the handle to check whether there are residual capsules and other foreign matters in the brewing cavity. Please clean before use.

NOTE 2: if the machine is used for the first time or has not been used for a long time, please do not put the capsule before brewing, and directly brew (at least once to complete the brewing) to remove the residual water stains inside.

NOTE 3: Please fill in pure drinking water into the water tank before brewing.

NOTE 4: Only use the original Nestle coffee capsule or similar Capsule for this appliance. If other capsule does not fit, do not force the capsule into the appliance.

CLEANING AND PLACING OF WASTE CAPSULE BOX

Please clean the waste capsule box (do not brew more than 10 times), shown in the figure below:

DESCALING AND CLEANING MODE

A. Firstly, enter the descaling mode
Fill in water and detergent into the water tank according to the proportion (the total capacity should not be less than 600ml, the maximum 700ml), plug out the power cord And there are two ways to enter the descaling mode.
Method 1:
press and hold the key S2 (large cup key), and then plug in the power cord until the two indicator lights flash alternately twice a second (commonly known as water lamp), and then release the S2 key to enter the cleaning mode;
Method 2:
When the brewing times reach 300, the machine will automatically enter the descaling mode, the two indicator lights flash alternately twice a second(commonly known as water lamp), Remind customers of the need for descaling.

B. Descaling steps:
After entering the descaling mode, The two indicator lights flash alternately twice a second (commonly known flowing water lights), then pressing S1 or S2 key the water pump, heater and solenoid valve will run, Start descaling. and the water temperature and temperature will be controlled at 70-80 .
After the operation time is about 108 seconds, the water pump, heating pipe and solenoid valve will stop running immediately and wait for the next steps cleaning work (Note: the machine is still in descaling mode at this time);
After descaling, add about 600ml clean water into the water tank, and then press any key to enter the cleaning mode. After 108 seconds of cleaning time, the water pump and solenoid valve stop and the machine enters the standby mode.

NOTE 1: There are two ways to stop descaling
a. Long press any key for more than 5 seconds to stop descaling or cleaning; if necessary, press again to restart descaling; otherwise, please pull out the plug to exit the descaling mode.
b. You can also turn off the power switch or pull out the power plug to exit the descaling mode; if descaling again, you need to re-enter the descaling mode according to the instructions.

NOTE 2: After a cleaning process, the accumulated brewing number of times will be clear all values.

NOTE 3: Do not use capsules when performing descaling and cleaning operations.

THE POWER SAVING MODE

When the preheating is finished or coffee brewing is finished and there is no operation for 5 minutes (without pressing the keys S1 and S2), the machine will be shut down without any action, including LED no display,enter the power saving mode.
In the power saving mode, the user presses any key to enter the standby mode.

Protection

  1. When the machine is powered on, first detect wheter NTC is faulty (short circuit or open circuit). If NTC is faulty, all work keys are invalid, and led 1 and LED2 flash rapidly (4 times / seconds, hereinafter referred to as flash).
  2. In any working mode, if NTC fails, the machine will stop working (the boiler will not be heated and the water pump will stop working), the indicator will act immediately, and all operation buttons will be invalid.

Maintenance and cleaning

To clean the outside of the machine:

  1. Unplug the power plug and cool down the machine before cleaning.
  2. Clean the surface with a clean soft cloth, and do not use hard or wet cloth.
  3. Please pay attention to the sharp needle in the machine’s brewing chamber to avoid injury.Take out the used capsule container, remove the cover, wash it with clear liquids or water.

NOTE: If the coffee machine malfunctions or other reasons cause it to not work properly, it is forbidden to power on again. please take the coffee machine to the service provider for testing and repair.
