Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Condensation in tubing Ensure the tubing, membrane and membrane cap are dry

before use.
If condensation occurs, ensure that tubing dries completely after each use. To do this, disconnect the tubing from the membrane cap and turn the pump back on to dry the tubing while you are packing up the breastmilk
Milk in tubing| Check the membrane for damage. Replace the membrane if needed and clean and sanitise or replace the tubing.
Low or no suction| Ensure you have the correct fit breast shield. A good fit will ensure a good level of suction. You may wish to speak to a Lactation Consultant to assist in finding the most appropriate size for you
If using as a single pump with y-shape tubing, check that the other side of the tubing is firmly connected into the top of the y-shape tubing connector
Check that all parts are securely assembled.
Check the valves for any dam
Nipple pain| Seek advice from a Lactation Consultant.
