INTRODUCTION
Radiant’s “Bluetooth Beacon T21” RAD MEDIA-BLE-T21, subsequently identified
with the terms “product,” “device,” or “beacon”) is a Bluetooth Low Energy
(BLE) beacon primarily used for Industrial Asset Tracking solutions. Radiant’s
beacons utilize iBeacon(TM) technology or Eddystone(TM) format specifications
with proprietary firmware.
Before you start using a beacon device, verify that it is undamaged and
carefully read the instructions in this user manual, particularly the
indications in the “Safety” section.
Radiant RFID disclaims any liability if the devices are used in modes and
environments incompatible with keeping the product intact, safe, and in
operation.
PROCEDURES
Beacon Activation
The battery-powered T21 beacon ships in an activated state. An interior LED
briefly flashes red when the battery level is below 20%.
Beacon Use
The T21 beacon transmits adverting frames according to the default settings.

Maintenance
The T21 beacon does not have a replaceable battery. Once the battery is
drained, and the beacon does not transmit advertising frames anymore, it
should be disposed of.
The beacon must never be opened or cut into. The beacon also must not be
exposed to any chemicals.

must be delivered to the user.

- DISPOSE OF BADGE AFTER BATTERY IS DRAINED. THE BADGE DOES NOT HAVE A REPLACEABLE BATTERY.
The beacon must be intended for the use in which it was designed. Any other
use is considered improper and, therefore, dangerous.
Before you start using the beacon, verify that it is undamaged.
The beacon is a wireless device. Please be attentive in its use while in range
(less than 5 cm) of a pacemaker or other electronic medical life-saving
devices, as it transmits radio waves that can interfere with the proper
functioning of these devices. Contact the medical device manufacturer for more
information.

inadequate use of the device and the failure to observe the information
