Control Panel Instruction

  • The power button (left button) on the motor unit lets the appliance run continuously at the variable speed determined setting of the speed dial ( center knob).
  • Turn the speed dial clockwise for increasing the speed and counter clockwise for decreasing the speed.
  • The Pulse button (right button) on the motor unit lets the motor run at a full speed. The motor stops if the button is released.
  • Switch off the motor and wait until the motor comes to a complete stop before removing the container.
  • The motor will automatically shut down if the container is removed.
  • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use.

Caution : The motor will re-start if the container is placed back on the motor unit with the motor still switched on. This will damage the clutch on the motor unit and on the container. Only place the container onto the motor unit if the motor is switched off.

Trouble Shooting

Tips … before you call for service.

| Switch the appliance off and pull the plug  out. Let the appliance  cool off for approx. 20 minutes, and restart the appliance afterwards.

Check to see if the noise cover is closed properly. Close it if it is opened.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current.

This appliance is equipped with a cord that has a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. If the outlet is a standard 2-prong wall outlet, it is your personal responsibility and obligation to have it replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet.

  • Switch the motor unit on at full speed for 10-20 seconds.
  • Switch off the motor unit.
  • Remove the jar from the motor unit
  • Rinse the jar thoroughly with clean water.
  • Dry the in-side and outside of the jar.
  • Store the jar upside down.
  • The jar is NOT dishwasher proof!
  • The underside of the jar may never come into contact with any liquid!

Discarding & Environment

At the end of the life of the appliance, please dispose of the appliance according to the regulations and guidelines applicable at the time. Throw packing materials like plastic and boxes in the appropriate bins.

  • Do not exceed 2 minutes when running at Max power, then turn to OFF for 2 min.
  • Switch off the motor and wait until the motor comes to a complete stop before removing the jar.
  • If the appliance is equipped with magnet switch on the noise cover, motor will automatically shut down when the cover is opened.
  • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use.

Cleaning And Maintenance

  • Please unplug the appliance from the power source before commencing cleaning.
  • Note: do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth (using mild detergent and water).
  • Do not use any harsh cleaning agents or abrasives. Avoid using any sharp or pointed objects, petrol, or solvents. If cleaning is necessary, use a damp cloth with mild detergent only and refrain from using abrasive materials.
  • Never immerse the jar in water or any other liquid. Always ensure that the jar is cleaned, rinsed and dried immediately after every use.

Cleaning instructions for the mixing cup

  • Add water and a mild detergent to the jar.
  • Cover the jar with the lid.
  • Place the jar onto the motor unit.

To avoid potential fluctuations in the line voltage ( due to overloaded circuits), it is recommended to install a separate fuse circuit from the meter panel. This can help prevent motor issues caused by current fluctuations. The serial rating plate will indicate the voltage and frequency for which the appliance is designed.

WARNING Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or service agent if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
Do not splice the cord. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord. Do not use ungrounded (two prong) adapter plugs with this appliance.

WARNING Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and any other liquids. In the unlikely event that the appliance should fall into water, immediately pull the plug out of the socket and have the appliance checked by a certified technician. Not following these instructions could give rise to life-threatening situations.

  • Never try to open the casing of the appliance yourself.
  • Do not insert any objects in the casing of the appliance.

WARNING Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.

  • Regularly check the plug and cord for any damage. Should the plug or cord be damaged have it/them repaired by a certified repair company.
  • Do not use the appliance after it has fallen or is damaged in any other way. Have it checked and repaired, if necessary, by a certified repair company.
  • Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. This could give rise to life-threatening situations.
  • Make sure the cord does not come in contact with sharp or hot objects and keeps it away from open fire. To pull the plug out of the socket, always pull on the plug and not on the cord.
  • Make sure that no one can accidentally pull the cord( or extension cord) loose or trip over the cord.
  • Always keep an eye on the appliance when in use.
  • Children do not understand that incorrect use of electrical appliances can be dangerous. Therefore, never let children use home appliances without supervision.

Appliance is not being used and always before cleaning.

As long as the plug is in the socket the device is connected to the power source.

  • Turn off the appliance before pulling out of the socket.
  • Never carry the appliance by the cord.
  • This appliance is solely used for blending food.
  • Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied along with the appliance.
  • Only connect the appliance to an earthed 110-120VAC electrical socket.
  • Do not remove the grounding prong from the plug. If in doubt about the grounding of the home electrical system, it is your responsibility and obligation to have an grounded outlet in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
  • Avoiding overloading.
  • The muddler ( or tamper, or mixing rod, or stir bar) should only be inserted into the jar when the lid is securely in place.
  • Turn off the appliance after use by removing the plug from the socket.
  • Always remove the plug from the socket when filling or cleaning.
  • The electrical installation must satisfy the appliance national and local regulations.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

Wire Connection Must Be Done By Specialized Technician.

The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damages resulting from incorrect or improper installation.

A WARNING Special Safety Instructions

  • The cutting blades in the jar can cause severe injury. Do not reach into the jar!
  • Moving parts will become hot with extended use. Don’t touch the moving parts. Risk of bums!
  • Be careful when blending hot liquids. Only blend hot liquids at the lowest speed and with the lid firmly in place. Risk of bums by escaping steam and splashes!
  • Unplug the appliance from the power outlet if not in use.
  • Make sure the motor unit is switched off before placing the jar onto the motor unit.

Preparations Before Using For The First Time

  • Remove all the packing material.
    • Clean the appliance with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. *Place the appliance on a level and steady surface.
  • Position the appliance in a way that the plug is always accessible.
    • Check if all the packing material are removed.
    • Plug the appliance into mains.
    • Place the ingredients in the jar. Close the lids firmly.
    • Place the jar onto the motor unit correctly.
    • Close the noise cover correctly.
    • Switch off the motor and wait until the motor comes to a complete stop before removing the jar.
    • If the appliance is equipped with magnet switch on the noise cover, motor will automatically shut down when the cover is opened.
    • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use.
