Assembly

A. Attach bottom handle 1 to the mower.
B. assemble the top handle 2 to the handle cen- tres 3, and fit to handle bottom 1.
C. Adjusting the Cutting Height
D. Coarse:

The roller brackets 4 should be set in one of three positions according to the type of lawn: I for high range for bumpy lawns, II for medium range for average lawns and III fore low range for reasonably flat lawns. You should only need to make this adjustment once, thereafter use the „Fine“ adjustment to cut longer or shorter grass.
To change the height of the cut:

  1. Remove the wingnut 5 and bolt.
  2. Reposition the bolt for the required height of the cut.
  3. Refit wingnut 5.

D. Fine (X):
Slacken wing nut 5 on both sides of the mower. Move both roller brackets 4. equally to the required height of cut.

E. Mowing
For best results, place the lawnmower on the edge of the lawn, and mow in a forward direction. Reverse at the end of each turn, slightly overlapping the previous cut strip.

Maintenance

Note: To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the following maintenance regularly.
Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose, dislodged or damaged blades, loose fixings, and worn or damaged components. Check that covers and guards are undamaged and correctly fitted. Carry out necessary maintenance or repairs before using.
If the mower should happen to fail despite the care taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be carried out by an authorized customer service agent for Bosch garden products. For all correspondence and spare parts orders, always include the 10-digit part number from the nameplate of the machine!

Adjusting the Blade

The cutting cylinder should be adjusted if the grass is not cut cleanly and evenly.
Turn both adjuster knobs 7 clockwise a little at time until the cutting cylinder 6 lightly brushes the bottom blade 8.
Note: The blades act like a pair of shears.
