Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons including children with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Switch off and remove the plug from the power outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning.
- To unplug, grasp plug and pull from power outlet. Never pull cord.
- Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hair, clothing and other utensils away during operation to prevent injury and damage to the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Return the complete appliance to your nearest authorized service facility for examination, electrical repair, mechanical repair or adjustment.
- The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by this appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
- Do not operate when the appliance is empty.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of a table, counter, or touch hot surface.
- Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near any hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the appliance by the cord or pull it to disconnect it from the outlet instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
- When using the extension cord with your appliance make sure the extension cord is correctly wired and rated for its use.
- This product is intended for household use only and is not compatible for professional use. If used for unintended use, guarantee is invalid.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself; instead, take it your nearest Service Centre or Authorized Service Agent for repair.
Warning
The blades of the knife are extremely sharp. Handle it with caution. Never
remove the lid until the knife has stopped completely.
Using the Appliance
- Please clean all parts, except for the motor unit, before first use.
- Remove the blade protector from the blades first.
- Put the upper blade onto the lower blade.
- Fit the upper and lower blades onto the fixed shaft in the bowl.
- Pour in the ingredients and place the lid firmly.
- Place the motor unit onto lid firmly.
- Plug in the appliance and press motor unit to operate.
- At the end of preparation, release the button, unplug the appliance and wait until the blades come to a complete stop.
- Remove the motor unit, the lid and the blades to remove the preparation.
- You can separate the upper blade from the lower blade by turning it clockwise and pulling it up.

CAUTION
- THIS APPLIANCE IS DESIGNED FOR INTERMITTENT USE. PLEASE RUN THE APPLIANCE WITH PULSES.
- DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT WHEN EMPTY OR LONGER THAN 10 SECONDS CONTINUOUSLY.
Cleaning the Appliance
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning the motor unit.
- Do not immerse the motor unit or put it under running water. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth. Dry it carefully.
- Handle the blade with care, as the blades are very sharp.
- Do leave the blade to soak with the washing up in the sink.
- To clean the bowl easily after use, pour a glass of warm water and a few drops of washing up
- Liquid into the bowl and operate the appliance for 5 to 10 seconds with the blade then rinse it under the tap.
- If the plastic parts are stained by ingredients such as carrots, rub them with a cloth dipped in a little cooking oil, then clean as usual.
- The bowl and cover can be cleaned in the dishwasher with the ECO or LIGHTLY SOILED programme.
Recycling
- Your appliance contains many materials that may be recovered or recycled.
- Take it to a collection point so that it may be processed.
- The product is in compliance with the EEE Directives.
